Some more tips: Ammo crafting is not fleshed out. It only allows crafting cryo 5.45. Do not go all in to buy it, just scoop later when you’re too wealthy. Also you cannot unlock weapon mod crafting first, they unlock in order like the tvs. Don’t worry about doing missions for rep, if you’re playing remotely well you can sell enough to make Max rep at all times. Suppressors are worth their weight in gold. Buy them, always. If a gun can’t use a suppressor, I don’t use that gun. The Scrapyard Nexus is perfect to grind weapon and character xp as well as cyborg parts. Just hit extract right away and kill em all. You can also do the totem quest while farming as it can spawn right near the entry point. Enemies have a threat meter. If you go in with a handgun, they won’t Agro on you as easily. They might stare at you for a moment then move on. AI don’t look up, but they can hear up. If you die on a map, retrieve your body for all rig modifications weapons and attachments. Use the combat scanner oh my god it’s so good. Especially when hunting for special enemies or specific loot. Turrets are turbo good for timed extractions, you can deploy up to 8 at once per person with the biggest rig and yes it’s hilarious.
I've started going to the Ashen Wastes for water. There's missions thay give 2 water for finding a picture and for finding 2x explosives. With the right RIG, you can pack out 3x large items. One can be water and the other 2 can be explosives. With a bit of RNG (and a thorough knowledge of how to get to extraction in case the hunter killers get deployed) you can get 1-5 water, bonus XP, and a nice bit of credits in a single 6 minute run.
A tip I learned the harder way: Be not afraid. You can actually do devastating damage to small squads, loot them without bothering to look at what you're grabbing, and run before their friends show up if you're even a little bit careful.
Another tip , if you die you can go back and pick up your load out you have before you die , you just loose all items you pick in the map .... so truly you don't loose your weapons as long as you go back and pick your bag back

The part about the water that’s disappointing for me is that I have periods where I’m out of town for as much as a week at a time (occasionally back to back), so it feels like I’m getting punished for my job. I’d much prefer a faster water consumption rate that only runs when you’re online.
It's actually fine once you have played a bit. I have a month and a half of IRL water + tons of barrels saved up in my inventory for when it needs topping up. You get it so many when you start unlocking the bigger rigs, so you shouldn't worry too much about it. 😀
The back button for quests literally changed my game! I was having problems with water because I was using that space for the scanner I managed to find early on, and without it I was having problems surviving but water kept running out

Yep, but it increases your xp cap and health. An annoying method of leveling up to be sure... but the skill tree isn't flushed out enough to support one continuous leveling system without massive grinds between perk upgrades.
@@dogishappy0ngl i kinda like the levelling, but i think they need to change it so the rig skills dont need previous unlocks. Kinda lame that to use a equipment rig ive gotta waste an extra 6500xp on skills that are functionally useless

i think each barrel is 24h and the timer ticking down is for that barrel so every barrel has a 24 hour timer goes down till the barrel is spent then your total barrels reduces by 1.
In the trenches you can crawl between the streets and the hangar with the massive mech where 2 drones or just soldiers spawn. I climbed in between the pipes and got spotted. Then my game crashed and I retrieved my backpack from that spot. Somehow I now have a 36M anti tank rifle (1000 dmg) in my inventory. What's up with that?
There isn't a gun light, you have to find the (maybe buy somewhere) the light modul and put in in your rig. Once you have one it should work with the same trigger of the scanner
Prestige confuses me. I never played COD so I thought prestige was some sort of social standing you had in the game. Hao dum uh me 2 no werds. Do they force you to level everything up together too, so you just miss an opportunity if you prestige? Like, do you need to level everything up at that xp cap before Prestigeing so you don't miss a chance to do it or something. I don't get it.
When you get XP you can put it to the skills of that character, but when your overall xp is above the prestige requirement, you can prestige. Prestige will reset the skills you bought, but increase the "base" stats. I don't know where the base stats are. I just assume the characters are well rounded, until we spend those skill points.
@@kieferstahl ahhh, so it sounds like leveling something up is a waste of time, & you should prestige asap, then level individual things up when you max prestige. Odd.
