ELIZABETH IRVING performed at the JDRF CANADA - 2019 ROCKIN' FOR RESEARCH GALA EVENT held November 2, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver accompanied by the band of R&B Conspiracy
This year marked the 20th Anniversary of Rockin' for Research! Over the last 19 years, the gala has raised $16M to fund research to find a cure for diabetes. This year they raised an additional $1.98M for a hopeful cure in sight.
Performing a powerful version of Rise Up, 15 year old Elizabeth was joined on stage with T1D Youth ambassadors. As a sibling of a T1D, Elizabeth knows first hand the 24/7 struggles for too many with this disease and was honoured to share her voice to Rise Up and Find A Cure. It's time to turn Type 1 into Type NONE !
