John was taking a lot of heat for his stands on a Biblical world view, and also a lot of hate over the title... Yes, the title of his second book, "Wimpy, Weak and Woke". It was a really good book that had nothing to do with non-Christians. He was basically speaking to the Church. He took a lot of heat, but I say God Bless him and may Skillet be blessed.
I love you guys (no hate here)... and absolutely, more Skillet! Speaking of love, a Skillet song that needs more reaction love in my opinion, is "I Want To Live". It is such a great representation of the last decade or two of their sound. It has a bit of everything, strings, crunchy guitars, John & Jen vocal magic, epic feel, super catchy. I'm not sure why it isn't one of their more popular songs. But, if you haven't heard it, it is must-hear Skillet.

LOVE Skillet!! They're my favorite band, too!

plus, i think this is their first song since going independent
Skillet can be hated all they want but one thing is for sure: They are the best of all the trendy bands out there.
