Thanks! I have an original airtag on my car and it always beeps when I drive off - even if the phone associated to that airtag is in the car. Going to replace it with this cheap tracker (minus the speaker...) and hopefully that will help. Also allows for using the airtag somewhere else where the Wideband chip (precision find) is more useful... that doesn't really make sense in/for a car.

You can also remove the metal play itself so you can choose of you tracker has a sound or not

Why would you remove it what’s the purpose of?
So it wont beep when you are not near it for a while. Just like orginal airtag would do.
