My dearest Ben, As a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, my heart has known both the soaring highs of victory and the crushing lows of defeat. But amidst the years of ups and downs, one name consistently ignites a flicker of hope within me: yours. Your offensive brilliance is poetry in motion. Watching your Detroit Lions, once a laughingstock, transform into a dynamic, exciting force is nothing short of mesmerizing. The way you orchestrate your players, the innovative schemes you devise, it's as if you're conducting a symphony of talent. The Bears, my beloved Bears, are adrift in a sea of mediocrity. We yearn for a leader, a visionary who can not only guide us back to the shores of success but ignite a fire within this franchise. You, Ben Johnson, possess that spark, that magnetic charisma that can galvanize a team and a city. Imagine the possibilities: a potent offense built around a young and developing quarterback, a rejuvenated defense, and a coach who inspires his players to reach their full potential. Under your guidance, Soldier Field would once again become a fortress, a place where opposing teams tremble in fear. More than just a coach, I see in you a leader who can restore the pride and passion that once defined the Chicago Bears. You are the missing piece, the final ingredient to complete this team's destiny. With a heart full of hope and a touch of romantic longing, I implore you to consider leading the Chicago Bears. Sincerely, Joe
@MCfact1827 Yeah. I always drink backwashed whiskey to avoid the chance of drinking bad whiskey. No, my dog. Hire based on potential not mediocrity. Going from bad to decent is not the goal. We need greatness. Let's take a swing on the most qualified high ceiling option. I'm not arguing for Joe Brady, my guy.
He might want Ben Johnson but so do the Raiders and they are going to give him a boat load and his own pick of GM. I'm preparing myself for Mike McCarthy who honestly would be a safe hire.
I'm really surprised anyone would think a medium steak is too much. My preference is medium rare. I will not make a burger at medium though if it's beef from the store. That's a much bigger health risk.
No, go Lions! We want Ben to shine and take the Offense to the Superbowl and then they'll lose because of the Defense 😂 that's our best case scenario... Then Ben leaves to win a Superbowl in Chicago
Most Bears fans okay with QB #1 CW but wished he'd had JD's support; oc Kingsbury, wise playcalling, consistently strong oline and a good HC. CW had 3500 yards, 20 TDs, 6 INTs. Still stats are competitive Then JF still not #1 QB. Would JD have his success with 68 sacks (his fault or not), multiple coach changes, weaker oline unwise playcalling, and time mismanagement? Then there is the hate from JF mourners, JD fans and USC haters before season even started. CW's ceiling is higher for the future than other rookie QBs doing well now. Bryce experienced support from fans with imperfect rookie season.
@@1848revolt Do you know football? If you're rookie QB whose offense would you choose. JD's has best oline, has top pass protection, #1 blockers, playcalling then he has RBs to his WR option. CW haters always respond with BS.
Seriously, If I am Ben Johnson, why would I go to the Bears instead of the Raiders? With the Bears, you are stuck with Williams. With the Raiders, you get to draft/ acquire your QB. Everybody assuming Caleb Williams is some attractive commodity. Is he?
What a laughable take! It's quite the no brainer the Bears roster (ESPECIALLY the QB) is a FAR more talented roster with $ to spend & get guys you need to hit the ground running. He'd also have the added advantage of knowing the other three teams in the division as well as not wanting to join a division that has Andy Reid, Jim Harbaugh & Sean Payton; all of whom have been to Super Bowls & COUNTLESS trips to the playoffs. Your brain needs glasses...

I agree, Phil. How in the name of all that's holy can you honestly say that after one year of professional football at the ripe old age of 24 Caleb is not a team guy or tough or any of the other BS you said? In the midst of a 10-game losing streak, when every other player in a Bears uniform had given up and shown no spine, Caleb was the one and only guy still giving it his all. He got the team in game tying or game winning position three or four times in quite remarkable fashion to boot. It’s not even that deep it’s just the Oline play that’s holding back if we had jayden’s Oline Waldron and eberflus would still be here
Poor coaching & play design makes it IMPOSSIBLE to properly judge the o-line.
