it's the "big red balls" of Wipeout... but there was certainly other similar shows, and i think takeshi's castle and even one before it inspired wipeout... there was versions of takeshi's castle that were re done with comedy (english) dubs before wipeout.

Dude, the oldest writings we have *ever* been able to date are Sumerian, from 5000 years ago (Around 3400BC), on clay tablets that were barely legible even with modern spectographs and x-rays.
No way a script would survive 10.000 years, let alone 50.000

~3 000 years ago: Old Arabic / proto-Arabic
~2 000 years ago: oldest ancestor of the Arabic script
