Hi Bunny, glad I don't participate in funny fails. Habibi! Btw, I've been to Rainbow Pools and they had a wonderful loud waterfall that you can go under and sit behind it. So cool! The best clip was the lady going through the window while farting.
14:45 yeah when I was doing on my precepting and labs for nursing school they teach us to go more by feel and not just sighting the veins. unless you are a diabetic or a dialysis patient or anyone else that has crappy veins for some reason, most nurses should be able to stick you after throwing on that torniquet and poking around a bit. damn, I can see so many easy looking sticks on that dude even on that tiny little video...he must stay well hydrated. shoot, the first stick I ever did was on a morbidly obese woman whose only visible veins were on the back of her hand. Also usually people have a good vein right there on the outside of the bend in their arm, just where that guy has his bandages. I always get stuck there when I have to give blood too. there are some things that you can still run into. a lot of nurses like to blame rolling veins, but heard so many veteran nurses I worked with laugh about that excuse. When I had an issue after a few tries, I always just straight up said I can't get the stick and got help from the floor "vein whisperer." But yeah it's easy to go too deep and go through the vein or just not center the needle right. I had a particular talent for finding valves on my first few sticks.
btw neat little trick that is going to tell you how bad that needle is gonna feel, you see a dark green(light green isn't so bad), amber(dark yellow), or a gray piece of plastic holding that needle....it gonna hurt. The little butterfly syringes aren't that bad though, usually 21 or 23 gauge. the dark green is a 14...like a freaking shotgun barrel.
I know the feeling. I gave blood to the Red Cross once, but never again. Those incompetent ghouls mutilated both of my arms.
I have never done that and I won't ever do it. It's not worth going through that.
