I'm getting overwhelmed by must have ingredients! Trentinon, retinol, exfoliates, peptides uncluding copper, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, cica, centella, etc..... I'd be spending so much time using all these!! Wish I knew exactly what I needed!!!
If you're barely starting it's good to start in small steps. The most important things you need are a cleanser, moisturizer and a sunscreen. After that you can start building up slowly on what other things you get. I'm overwhelmed as well but I'm trying to take it step by step.
This is a year old, but if you follow dr Dray the holy trinity is cleanser (double cleanse though, so one oil based and one gentle foam one), moisturizer, and sunscreen. For the active ingredients (like tretinion, salicylic acid, etc), use one that will target YOUR skin problems. You don't need every single active ingredient out there. You just need one that will focus on your actual skin needs. And skincare products are crazy now, you will see cleansers with centella, and I kid you not, most if not all moisturizers will have niacinamide and things like that. So if you're feeling overwhelmed just focus on those 3 and ONE product with an active ingredient.
I want to make a mention for everyone that ever burn their skin with an acid (that you kept to much or whatever) apply any cica paste and in just 30 minutes you go back to normal. If I've"done it to bad" I will reapply every few hours and in less than a day you're fixed ❤
@@Shiviworld774 right now I'm using the cicapaste from No7. That's what I have at home now. My little one scratch his face a few days ago and while this usually takes weeks for us to go away and now it's almost done in less that a week.
I just finished the Aveeno oat gel moisturizer, it’s my new fav!!! I’ve never found a face moisturizer I legit liked before. I’m in my late twenties and I have oily skin and it was perfect! Thanks dr drey luv ya
I’d love to hear more about the Differin Restorative Night Moisturizer. I was using Differin Gel (modestly and correctly) and had gotten this moisturizer to go along side it. Well, my skin is incredibly sensitive and did not do well with Differin. After months on end I was not seeing improvements so I switched to only using the CeraVe Resurfacing Serum (which was also a game changer for my skin). Anyways, I kept using the Differin Moisturizer. Omg this stuff is my holy grail. It goes on so smooth, and feels light weight. I also like that it has Sunflower Seed Oil in it. And caffeine! It just has everything I could look for in a moisturizer. The licorice root, the Niacinamide. It’s heaven sent. A lot of other products I find have some ingredients that I like but not all. I feel like this one hits the nail on the head for me. I did try switching to La Roche’s Double Repair Moisturizer because I thought it might be more superior for me. But then I realized my skin hasn’t been as bright and supple as it normally is with the Differin. I also notice my wrinkles were more visible. I’m thinking maybe that’s the lack of caffeine? Anyways, I’m surprised more people with dry skin aren’t raving about this moisturizer. And I also know I am the sole purchaser of this product at my local CVS 😆
The Eucerin q10 is holy grail. I don’t think I will ever be without it again! And for how cheap it is, it’s hard to want to use somethinf else. It has the texture of softened butter when you leave it on the counter. I just LOVE it. My skin drinks it up and ir doesnt leavw my face greasy at all.
Acne prone and oily by nature so I use differin and panoxyl, too, which are both drying. This moisturizer looks super rich but goes on the skin very light. I am 31.
I have started using the riceberry range from liittleextra i.e. face wash, face serum, moisturizer, skin toner, and sunscreen. I apply them daily in the morning, and it’s been just 1 month, and I can notice the improvement on my face. The dull skin appears more bright, and wrinkles have reduced. There was a dark spot near my right cheek, and I notice it has lightened a lot. I’m definitely stick to this skincare routine.
I have been using littlleextraa riceberry sunscreen 50 SPF, moisturizer, and face serum for almost a year, and each of those that I've used have given me exceptional results and a glow-up on my skin.
@@lnxa7441 no, but I have dry skin so most moisturizers don’t. If you’re prone to that, they do have a fragrance-free version which would probably be gentler on your skin.
My skin *loves* that ELF Holy Hydration moisturizer! I bought it once when I was in between shipments of my favorite Korean one (I'm From Rice Cream) and had heard it recommended before. I have rosacea and my skin is pretty reactive but it tolerates this beautifully. When my skin is dryer it's not enough moisture but most of the time it's great and it's at a great price point too -- bonus!
I was so happy with getting Aveeno one time. I loved the smell. I used some over night and woke up the next morning with red skin. Almost like I had a allergic reaction.

This balm does have patrolium in it but in a much smaller amount so it’s like a cream with a hint of patrolium so basically like a balm as advertised lol, a little goes a long way and I use it basically like slugging and it’s amazing as an eye cream. I feel like it would be expensive if using all over the body because it’s a small tube but because i mainly use it for my face and I only need a little bit, it is lasted me so long. I will most definitely be paying full price once I finish these two tubes. I also will use it on daughters eczema as well and really works well on that.
