  • Pune India is the home of the great spiritual master and Avatar of the age, Meher Baba, and today is my first morning in this beautiful city. I felt like sharing some random thoughts about India and the great popularity of yogic philosopy amongst europeans and americans.

    Jai baba bro. Are you going to Meherabad too or You were there before? You said somewhere in your video that Meherbaba's mysticism is very real and it is considered to be difficult to comprehend. I think that one aspect of his mysticism is that he chooses people for a long-term relationship and after that unconscious events happen that this relationship becomes extensive and long. After hearing many stories you are convinced that he insists on companionship while not being physically present but events happen.

      @EyeOfTheVeda  Рік тому

      Yes 100%, I am literally sitting with a few Baba lovers right now in Meherabad and each one I talk to has the most amazing and personal story of how they came to him, or rather how he brought them to him. Because we cant come to him on our own, but he will bring us if he wants to. Its so personal its hard to describe. He is closer to me than my own heartbeat.

    It’s not so much that people are dying their hair/beard red, but that they use Henna to remain youthful (as the prophet apparently also did) and cover grey hairs. When Henna is first applied it looks dark brown, then fades to red over time. You will see many Hindus do this as well, so it is more a regional/cultural thing than anything to do with Islam.
    Muhammad came from Mecca, where people are relatively fair, as we can see today in the average Saudi.
    Enjoy your time in Pune 🙏🏻

    • @EyeOfTheVeda
      @EyeOfTheVeda  Рік тому +1

      Yes thats true but Muhammad's genetic background has no connection to the people inhabiting that region today. By the way, did you know that Queen Elizabeth is a direct descendent of the prophet Muhammad? I found that to be surprising!
      This is according to what I have learned but I am no expert on Islamic history really. From what I learned he dyed his hair red to maintain the color that it originally was but as you know the Yogic realm is more my world, I just thought that was very interesting. Dyeing things red was also sacred for many other reasons too

    I’m so happy to see your happiness while you’re in India especially when you see dogs or birds, I do the exact same thing even after having lived in India for 23 years now.
    The part where you mentioned ‘see what you’re doing in your current life to know what you were doing in a previous life’ really hit the spot for me.
    Also, so excited for you to be exploring Vedic sciences and ancient history!! It’s profound!!!

      @@Darshitatiwari Is that where you are? Its definitely on my list, but you know how it is, better to stay in one place and enjoy it than run all around india being a tourist and rushing through everything. But I plan to visit the east and the northern regions in spring or summer for sure!

    It's so heartwarming to see you there and imagine the feeling of connection you're experiencing to the land and people! I fell in love with India so bad when I travelled there, really it felt like going home, and just so amazing how much esoteric stuff is just everywhere, how worship and prayer and little acts of devotion are so normal. Have an incredible time!
    And yeah, there's so many links that tie in so much of humanity to the same ancient, solar religion. Who knows where it originated from, but it seems like India has preserved it. And defo red-haired, fair people are a cultural memory among them.

    Jai Baba! So happy to see this video. I saw you were going back to India, but didn't know you were going there. I've wanted to go myself. You actually introduced me to Meher Baba. Thank you for sharing your time there. ✨🙏✨
    Edit: I would also like to add the energy coming through this video is quite intensely blissful. Feels amazing. And, I didn't know that about Germany. I know Mother Meera is in Germany and I always thought that was kind of odd, but makes more sense now. Again, thanks for sharing.

    If we are all One "thing" how can there be a hierarchy?

    • @EyeOfTheVeda
      @EyeOfTheVeda  Рік тому +2

      Kinda like how your Heart and Brain is more important than the hairs on your finger? If you could lose only one which would you pick? Hairs or Head? Its all the same thing, but Hierarchy exists in nature, its just a fact of life.
