A vehicle has to be totaled by an insurance company. After that, if someone chooses to repair it. It has to have a rebuilt/salvaged title.
not 100% true. i have a car that wasnt totaled by insurance BUT it ended up being fixed and owned by a salvage yard and THAT is how it gets a salvage brand

i went from 120,000 to 1.1 million in 2 hours on this during my live stream.
basically buy anything from anyone and ask for double.. i smashed up cars into houses, jumped them into hills and sold in bad condition and i made my money.
thern i moved onto buying from the market straight from the market to my car lot no upgrades and sold ferraris for double their price and chevys for double their price.. the game doesnt recognise adding performance or paint right now as i was selling anything and everything with no additions to them.. have fun,

From what I’ve found the bargain is broken I wouldn’t invest points in it and tablet is at the red building I think bar there’s a guy outside selling tablet and hammer, hammer can be used at junkyard to hit scrap cars and make 20$/per scrap love the videos keep it up

They call it a rebuild you have to to take apart the transmission and the engine if those don’t work and they have to fix it that’s what considers it as a rebuild

dont sell cars for crazy price, I found if you sell cars for a reasonable price then the customers will actually pay a good amount.
EXAMPLE: buy a car for 6k and you put up for sale 15k then the customers will not even offer half the buy price BUT if you was to put the car up for sale for around 9k then you should find the customers will actually offer near to what you want if not the exact price.
Also time and pateince is a virtue, You will eventually get someone that will pay a good price, may take 50 customers but there will be someone idiot that pays the price

21 in game days I made it to $525,000 + the neighborhood house which was $60,000 and upgraded officer to lvl2, added decatrons to everything I own. If you spend a total of $3000 on a car including repairs. Sell for $5000. Buy a car for $10,000 and spend $1,500. Put it up for $18,000 to $20,000. Their was a meter in the game before the newest update. Delivery trucks you wont make more then $800. Spend $230,000 + $1,500 on repairs on a higher end vehicle put the price at $350,000 to $500,000.
I now just wait for car market to open to buy cars :P

A rebuilt title the damage has to be between $4,500-$24,000 once that car is totaled out by the insurance the vehicle receives a salvage title or in Colorado’s case a state damage title. Then the vehicle will be transported to a auto auction where it can be bought. If a vehicle has more than $45,000 in damages it can not get a rebuilt title but a certificate of salvage title then in which it can be registered in certain states. With a rebuilt title the vehicle has to be inspected by the state to Department of motor vehicles to be eligible to be registered
This game looks good on the surface but it gets boring and repetitive real fast.. and it has lots of bugs. Definitely not worth 14$
If you accidentally sell your car for the wrong price like I have once just leave the game and go back you will spawn in your house you would just have to redo what you did that day, from what it looks like you went to sleep before you sold that so you should have the car back
