I Found An Incredible Location For Plane Spotting! London Heathrow Airport Vlog!

- Welcome back to another vlog It's the Captain.
In this vlog I am at London Heathrow Airport to collect my family that were coming back from Pakistan.
I left a bit earlier to go and view the planes landing from two locations which are a must visit if you have some spare time before collecting family or love these incredible machines!
The two locations that I went to were:
1. Myrtle Avenue
2. A4 Thistle Hotel
Mrtyle Avenue is an avenue and an incredible location to see the planes land. You park up in the avenue and if their isn't space then the side roads before it are alright as well.
However, on this occasion the planes were not landing at Mrtyle Avenue as the runways were changed!
So I managed to go to my second location A4 Thistle Hotel. But here you have to pay for car parking in the hotel and then go to the first floor. Oh My days the views from this location when landing are astonishing.

I am a plane enthusiast as well and I really really really have been looking for amazing spots. I literally have a day off tomorrow and I know exactly what I’m going to be doing. Thank you for uploading this video because now I know exactly where to go when it comes to Heathrow Airport. I live in London and I tend to go to London City Airport which isn’t that busy. I’ve done Gatwick Airport as well but I’ve really been looking for amazing spot with Heathrow. Thank you so much for doing this video❤

we went this location,but unable to find landing..only take off from other side..which time will be landing??
Heathrow airport is always changing their take off and landing sides unfortunately. When I went to my first location (Myrtle Avenue) they weren't landing so that's why I found this location where they were. It's just one of those things. I think some websites or apps like flight trader might help.

Bro a quick question, the location of thistle hotel balcony, is it accessible by wheelchair and would they allow you to take a tripod ?
I think it is accessible for wheel chair users as there were lifts, however I think it is best to contact them directly and double check to confirm. Also in terms of taking a tripod they shouldn't say anything. But if they are being funny then just grab a tea or coffee from the main reception and then tell them you are doing some plane spotting or waiting to collect family from the airport and that the hotel is a perfect place to sit down and wait as well as enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Oh the white blank one was Just New Pilots Training For an airline Then they will Discuss and choose one for it.Oh and also The sas plane is Was not a cargo The airline was scandernavvian airlines
