This was Bob's big tune for Fleetwood Mac, so its understandable that Lyndsey's singing of the tune isn't up to how Bob sang it, BUT that kick-ass guitar solo that Lyndsey lies down is awesome! Christine McVie's Hammond playing is almost call and response with Lyndsey's guitar solo. Also, you can't beat the powerhouse of Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. By this time in their careers, these two guys have been playing together for about 8 years. Such tight bass and drum playing on this track. Thanks for posting this one!

I appreciated his jazz/rock fusion guitar a lot more today than during the 70s. Hell, Lynyrd Synyrd was on the 8 Track going to both those shows !!! Imagine, how times have we listened to 'Free Bird' over & over ;) lol

Lindsay and Stevie did good here. Nothing beats the “two Bobs” of course, but still a nice version. Lindsay playing with great dynamics on the guitar.

No disrespect to Bob Welch, great writer, singer and is missed. But, the incredible lead guitar that winds through this entire album was the work of Bob Weston who also passed away and should be given his credit as well.

+kayakutah What? In the fall of '75 neither Welch nor Weston were with FM.
And Buckingham in no way came close to the standard that Welch, Weston, Kirwan, Spencer, Green, et. al., had established.

kayakutah Welch played great lead guitar as well, his style is R&B influenced: think the lead guitar during the verses of Future Games.

@@sdushdiu Total bullshit, just your opinion, the fan base expanded exponentially after Buckingham and Nicks arrival. However, I am not saying which lineup is better, but your comment is bogus.

thats one of those gigs you just got to get through. never ending 8th notes on the hi-hat, singing a song thats not yours, trying to do it justice. not easy. plus the ground hum. . . thats paying your dues right there.

Thanks for uploading. It's very interesting to hear and see Lindsey replace Bob Welch. They are two different guitarists, though I hear Lindsey recreating some of the original "jazz" chords and, putting his own style on the song.
