    The ribs building is perfect "theme park" looking. The project turned out great! Congrats on another finished park.

    Hoping that if they make a second game, the key focus would be optimization! I'd be willing to believe that MOST players make parks, or at least one park, that begins to cause lag, even with the best rigs. Love the videos!

    I'm kind of glad the hyper didn't come in the end, it would have taken attention away from the RMC by dominating the sightlines

    Love the cover canopy on the screamin’ swing queue! It’s just so satisfying with the foliage atop!
    Name wise, I vote for some plays on Chaco-sayings. RMC should be something like Wild Beams, or Beam Bandit.
    I’d vote for something to have a ‘Sss’ in the name too, due to the ‘Yessss’ moments you have. Maybe Serpentine for the Eurofighter to tie the Aztec theme? Or Salsander’s Revenge (lots of S’s) haha.
    Loved this series! As a none TMTK player this has been amazing tbh!

    Jokes on you I watched it.
    I have to say though this was by far my fav. series. I'm a vanilla kinda PlanCo gamer, so this was just fantastic to watch. And you are right: TMTK can be nice, but is not at all required.
    Thank you for doing this. Hopefully we'll get some more of em? Even if the parks aren't as realistic, it works enough for this game and is already way more detailed than all my builds.
    I don't even build transfer tracks or maintenance sheds^^
    Cheers!

      I think the one thing that this series has properly taught me is that you can use TMTK to accent realism; you don't need it FOR realism. I miss the smaller things like the PC, cash registers, mulches, gift shop stuff, the smaller signs and some of the beams.. But I don't miss some of the other stuff I've downloaded.. So I think new series going forward will probably cut back on TMTK unless it is absolutely needed for some of the interiors / decor...

    Loved to see this. For the next project I’d love to see a full on theme park with over the top themed lands similar to Phantasialand. Something way to expensive and grandiose to justify it being build but it still just being there.

    Chacho I have an idea for a future series. Basically it’s if you had a really low budget park, how could you turn it into a world-class resort/very popular park. E.g. could you turn crealy into a universal level, or six flags etc level park. This could be interesting, and would show a different skill set from you that I’d love to see.

    • @Nerdchacho
      @Nerdchacho  7 місяців тому +2

      I like the idea.. I need to find a way to make it a "not boring" series though as the shelf-life of a series tends to be about 10 Episodes...

      @@Nerdchacho shame the average viewer can't cope with a long series. I personally loved the upgrade feature of the royal myle. And it is a shame that 10 episodes works best from a UA-cam perspective

    • @Nerdchacho
      @Nerdchacho  7 місяців тому

      It's the nature of viewership in 2024 though. Gone are the days where people would commit to 30 episodes when you have so many other creators out there doing new and shiny things. Time is finite to people and I get it. You can also see it in the analytics. People don't care about the middle.. or even the start. A lot of people watch part of the intro then skip to the end to see how it turned out. I get it.. 10 eps is still a 10 week commitment. Every week for 30 mins or so. 300 mins just on my stuff? I don't blame any-one for wanting to skip episodes or bail for a shiny new series from some-one else..

    • @leemainwaring6439
      @leemainwaring6439 7 місяців тому +3

      @Nerdchacho I suppose the difference is if you've played the game or just have a passing interest. the middle part and the time lapses are quality content and give a great insight into how you pull things together.

      @@Nerdchacho Who Cares, I would watch a 50 Episodes series from you with each episode being a hour long but its your choice overall. The way i do it is, I have multiple series on at the same time but episodes are every 4-6 weeks so i dont get bored of a park. Also i just shoe the end result.
      Feedback: I think the Timelapse make the videos worse, when your talking i fully pay attention but in the timelapses i think of something else

    Great series as always chacho, excited to see the final additions. I am looking at buying a new pc to handle this gsme better and was wondering what specs you have and how much apx thatd cost. I am not sure it'll be in my price range but my current pc just can't handle everything anymore

      @Nerdchacho  7 місяців тому

      Well... I've got an i9 14900K, 64GB DDR5 (6000) RAM and a 4090. It came in at a cool 5 grand... Jippety handles at 60FPS though, but it depends on what your budget is and what you call "handles better"?
      This game will NEVER be a 100FPS queen in a full park. It's just not coded that way.

    • @stratasmiler3733
      @stratasmiler3733 7 місяців тому

      @@Nerdchacho ah thank you chacho, Welp 5 grand is an immense amount and sadly out the budget, although I wish it wasn't. To be able to build mega parks on that scale with limited lag would be a dream though haha

    • @Nerdchacho
      @Nerdchacho  7 місяців тому

      Even my 14900K struggles on parks like Wilderview Mews, Raygate Lake and Grosvenor. If you remove the dimension of "Tycoon and open building games always lag with the more you put in because you are filling a world that can't be pre-rendered" out of it, the game was designed between 2012 and 2016; it is designed for the tech available at that time. Throwing hardware power at it helps, but isn't correct. We are on Direct X 12 now... Planet Coaster is Direct X 11.. That in itself has limitations. As does the Cobra 1.0 engine. As I say, throwing new hardware at it only helps so much - it is more efficient and can squeeze more out of DX11. You will of course see improvements.. that's the nature of upgrading and new hardware, but there is an element of fallacy there too. Now, Planet Zoo on the other hand, saw a massive increase in performance. As did Civ 6. Both of which are DX12 compatible.

      @Nerdchacho There's a career scenario in the base game. I usually over-decorate and stick to a theme and I managed to get a full themepark in this style. Note that few research was possible in there. Especially plazas and transportation rides are easy to do. I reckon unique supports for (minetrain) coasters, wooden and some suspended coasters could be themed beautifully as well. World fair DLC was a good fit and making flat rides 'indoors' or 'roofed' works well. But indeed, it isn't easy! Hence I challenge you to try 😀

Certainly worth the amount of enjoyment I get from your witty banter and overall giddyness (or is that "chuff-ness"?) for some of the things you find pleasing. Keep up the great work!
      Oh, and I know you have a new PC - I asked you about lag before. I would LOVE to see how your system is set up, what your settings are, and how you're mitigating lag. Ever consider doing a live stream with an interactive Q&A while building? (hint hint)
