Thank you for this excellent review. Very informative. Really liked how you covered all three earbuds. Based on your review, I purchased the liberty 3 pro from amazon. Got it delivered pretty fast and I was excited to start using it. My previous earbuds were apple airpods, original ones and beats pro wireless. I couldn't stand the airpods as they were constantly falling out of my ears. I didn't care much of their fidelity however, for phone calls, they were excellent, so they were perfect for the car drives and taking zoom calls as I pretty much sat still with little to no movements. The beats pro, well they were mostly used during my walks/jogs and in the gym. I rarely took phone calls using them, they were used for music. Back to Liberty pro 3's. I liked them for music, for my ears, they sounded even better than my beats pro so I was very excited. My excitement ended about the Liberty pro 3's with my very first phone call. My close friend, after hearing just two sentences, his comment was "where the F are you, you sound terrible". Not only he complained about the audio quality being very poor, sounding very digitized, he complained about hearing a lot of background noises in addition my not so clear voice to his ears. I had an upcoming business trip so I took them with me. They performed very well to cancel out the jet engine noises. There was something strange, with a full change, and ANC enabled, I got only 2.5 hours life however, on the flight back home, again, fully charged, I was able to use them for 4+ hours with ANC enabled. Over the last few days, I've been using the Liberty pro 3's for phone calls, and 90% of the people at the other end complained one reason or another. If not regarding the well pronounced background noises, it was my voice, sounding digitized. I tried to play with all the possible settings I could think of from the app, but noticed right away, that the app doesn't connect to the earbuds if I am on a phone call. With close friends, I told them that I would hang up, launch the app so I could make adjustments then call them back. No settings I chose helped. In your review, and a couple of the other ones, there's not a single mention of what I experienced. everyone seems to rave about these earbuds. So I wondered if I got a defective unit. Today I received the replacement ones, and the experience has been the same during phone calls. The apple airpods pro (gen 2) were on sale so I ended up picking them up from my local electronics store. I'm on day two using them, I've made about 10 phone calls so far, mostly to the same people who complained about background noise, robotic/digitized voice, not a single person made a mention of anything similar when I used the air pods pro. While you cited a lot of pros for the Liberty pro 3, and in many cases the apple had lower scores, for my hybrid (music and phone calls) needs, they seem to be working out ok. Its looking like I will keep them and return the Liberty 3 Pro. I thank you again for your review. I look forward to reading your next one with great excitement and learning about what's new. Cheers, and keep up the great work.

@Sean Talks Tech, that was a great review. Clear and concise. I am curious though. Since the Soundcore and Sony were so close, for your money, which would YOU buy?
Hello sean. Sorry if my question is off topic but this is a really important question. For you, if money is not an issue, between Soundpeats TrueAir 2 and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live (Beans), which one is better. Please reply ASAP because its 10/10 event on Shopee right now hahaha

Transparency on these are pretty neutral as they don't amplify too much of the surrounding but let's through just enough for you to hear. But with music playing, you're probably not gonna hear much. 😁 I hope they improve their vocal transparency which is currently in Beta. That would be really cool 🔥
listening on my soundcore liberty 3 pro. the best i had. i have xm3 i had airpods pro, Samsung earbuds, nothing came close to sound and comfort to my ears
You said Sony XM4 has best battery at 8 + 16h w/case but then you gave more points to the Soundscore that had 6 + 18h w/ case. Your scoring system is faulty You then said Sony has the best features at number 1, Soundcore at 2nd place, but then you gave more points to soundcore. Are you high?
Question?-how did you do the call quality test? Did you speak into the bud actually by mouth or record the speech and play it bc it may be just me but the inflection in your voice changed per the 3. Suggesting you preferred the sony but unconsciously chaged the tone/inflection
I have the Sony wh-1000xm3s which I adore. However I have cheaper soundcore liberty neo earbuds as a throw around and I was very impressed with the sound and build quality by them for the price. I would not be surprised if soundcore is pressuring companies like Sony with their higher priced products. I unfortunately can't do Sony earbuds because they just don't work for my ear shape so I am going to try these instead. From this review I got that they are not superior to Sony, but more that they are pretty comparable and might be more of a competitor to Sony as they continue to refine their higher priced buds. This might be the first buds that are pushing that envelope for them.
@@jakeyvo I have the first gen Liberty Pro, and they're ... well ... mediocre. I've had issues with sound quality, comfort, and obviously no ANC. Now, suddenly, out of nowhere, a product that trumps all of its competition? Naaah. I expected it to be good in some areas, but to have such high reviews at everything, especially ANC and sound quality, is just ridiculous. It's an evolution of a mediocre product, not a freakin' revolution of the audio industry.
@@napillnik oh so you say they couldn't improve over the time? Actually I have p3 and liberty air 2. And they are incredibly good for me. Love them they are great in every aspect
Hi,Sean. Thanks for your review. Between qcy ht03 and mpow x3 ( ver 1.0). Do you think which is better ? Which anc make you more impressive? Hope to see your reply. I’m your fan in VietNam
Soundcore Liberty 🌴 pro 👍 being environmentally conscious with the names I see🤔 joking aside.... from my experience and comparison in person several times, L3P's ANC is nowhwre near the XM4s..... L3P's ANC is mediocre at best..... Though personally I'm hopeful there is actually a way of tweaking the L3Ps to even approach the Sony's ANC capability... Because I love the sounds from the L3Ps. Is there?
I haven't used these 3 but I have used Jabra Elite 75T and Bose QC 35 II and my $9 wired KZ EDR1 2015 model beats both of those in sound quality easily. Not exaggerating
I think the kz zex, $21, will still sound better than all of these. Obviously you won't get all the features. But I love buying iems. CCZ coffee bean, ks1, moondrop's $12 pair.
@@alvinleewoeijye1861 no he's not being hyperbolic, your average $15 ien is going to sound better almost any true Wireless option at least without ldac. Granted these have ldac. But you also only get 2 hours when you're on ldac. With iems you can get losseless. It's as much about the compression as it is the drivers or the battery Etc
Remember Bluetooth options cannot yet do lossless audio. Your audio is quite compressed especially if you're using an iPhone and you don't have aptx or ldac.
Since Best Buy doesn't have the gunmetal grey I'm trying to figure out what color to get? Which do you think has a better look black or white? Do the white look like they can get dirty or smudge at all?
What’s better between Bower & Wilkins VS Liberty 3 pro ? Because they use the same dual driver design. And there is quite a big price gap so I need your opinion on this.
I honestly have not tried the B&W (assume it's the PI7) I don't think they have an specific sound advantage when compared to the Liberty 3 Pro, which is almost 3 times cheaper. The soundcore is very solid and I think you won't be disappoint. In my humble opinion, B&W have quite a bit of brand influence, it's like buying a Rolls Royce 😁
Hi, I have been in search for a pair of new buds for quite a while now, here are my 2 cents for the PI7 (I assumed you're mentioning that specific model). Honestly, PI7 has got to be my favourite sound quality among all the buds that I have tried (MTW2, XM4, MW08, EQ). Its a whole new listening experience, the sound stage is so wide, every little details are there yet the bass is not lacking. Love it but the battery life is a pain in the ass. The case too feels cheap but the audio transmitting feature is a plus!
Bower not as popular than soundscore price wise soundscore wins it. Bower, sennhieser, sony and some other high end products are premium and pricy but compare of features maybe variants.
That's weird because he said the airpods don't hurt but the soundcore libreaty 3 pro hurt a little bit but in my case it's exactly the opposite I can't wear airpods without them hurting my ear within 20 minutes of wearing and the soundcore I can wear them until they run out of charge.
A) Apple AirPods Pro Cons - Expensive, lack of Bass, battery life sucks, no customization, white color only. B) Sony WFxms4 Cons - Most Expensive, big boring shape & size, 2 colors, Bass not strong. C) Liberty 3 Pro Cons - Ear not comfotable for long use, blinking lights.
Hey sean, can you please suggest me between QCY T13 and Edifier X3 Or something else in this price range?? I'm a rough user... would like to have it in terms of sound, decent battery, build... Over all a good quality tws would have been better for me... I don't play games either. Please help 🙏
But what made the Sony's better than the Soundcores in sense of features? Bc it sounded like the Sony's and Soundcores did essentially the exact same things but delivered in a different way. What makes Sony's better?
The Sony's have more features, such as a talk through mode, adjustable anc, and so on. In all honesty - I didn't find any *good" review comparing those headphones all together yet. Nobody is talking about mids, highs and lows, frequency response, connection issues or anything relevant for daily routines. Don't be biased by all of the gibberish. Get the ones that fit the best, sound the best and fit to your needs. Also - Android/iPhone is very different in terms of features/integration on all three of these. The soundcore and sonys sound different on Android call and sound-quality wise.
@@NOPE96 I don't think an automatic talk through feature is automatically a step above an ANC that's tuned to your hearing specifically bc an automatic talk through mode sounds more like a convenience thing and not a feature that automatically makes it better than the Soundcores. Especially if you're someone like me who enjoys singing. That feature would never be turned on.
@@gingram2 That feature isn't for singing, it's for when you're being talked to. That's why the Sony's excell in the "business" category. That's also something that differentiates the xm4 models from the xm3's. It's a separate feature only some headphones have as of now. Also - not to rate or anything - But I myself would never sing loudly with in-ears. 🤔
I tried a few times my mates L3P cause it's always on sale, rn around 100€. I own a L2P and I couldn't believe how quiet the new one is, punchy sub bass L2P sports not even comparable. I wanted a smaller design, multipoint connection. I really wanted to like these, took the eartips off my L2P but the fit was still off. In the gym couldn't do one set without them getting loose and falling out. Charging case not recognising sometimes one earbud and you end up taking it out just to put it back in to charge was just cherry on the cake. I know reviewers on yt have to push soundcore with the affiliate links but at this stage it's so obvious these reviews are flooded many times.
How soundcore stand up against buds pro? I have s20 phone and im not sure to buy buds pro or soundcore? I think galaxy wearable looks very cool so im bit worried about soundcore app
I will wait before I buy a Soundcore product again. The liberty pro 2 had many problems and that continued noise they were making was horrible. Tried 3 of them and all had those issues.
No way that anc is the best you most didn’t chose the right tips with Sony…. You’re the only person who has said that period out of at least 30 reviews I seen
Thanks for sharing. But I actually did. For each test I did, I had the same noises playing and swapped between the 3 Earbuds and note down. The Sony is very very good, and the soundcore is on par but there is this extra deep frequency that the soundcore manages to cut and that makes it a tad bit quieter. I've also done it with the hearID ANC and I think perhaps that gave it a slight edge 😃
@@SeanTalksTech wow ok…i appreciate that testing that’s great to know. I ordered the liberty pro 3 after testing like 15 different buds. I’m finally settling on this one
I drive the Life P3 and they sound really great, great battery life and connection quality! My Liberty 3 Pro will arrive in a few days though I also have the Sony Headphones WH 1000X-M3 - Muffled Sound, good ANC. Earfun Free Pro 2, almost as good in soundquality as Life P3, really bad battery life and super bad connection quality. Can't wait to check the Liberty 3 Pro Have a nice day
I get a lot of incoming ambient noise with the Liberty 3 Pro. Their advertisement video shows someone turning on the ANC in a noisy airplane cabin and it's instantly quiet. That's not my experience. What I get is maybe a 50% reduction in volume, despite the Fit Test on the app reporting a good seal. I still hear everything around me very clearly in ANC mode. Very disappointing.
Time to ditch the "unboxing experience". Do people really think this is important? Who cares? I still love my 3 year old iPhone because the unboxing experience is still fresh in my mind. (roll eyes). You did touch on going green. That is a better metric. Good for you! Good review of all 3. Thanks!
Theke for this very interesting and informative comparison-video. But Your mention regarding all 3 of them are equipped with "Multi-Point Connectivity" is NOT TRUE. While the Soundcore and the AirPods Pro do support "Multi-Point Connectivity", the Sony DON’T. It’s a possibility that sometime in the future, Sony will provide this feature with a "Firmware Update", as rumors suggested. Greetings from Helvetia 🇨🇭
I'm a bit worried with the p3's can you clarify if they are well detailed to listen to songs which have so many instruments like rock and punk where every minor detail is needed do these buds really are very clear and detailed to listen everything an artist have to offer?
Hello Kunal, from a driver and sound tuning perspective, they do a good job with frequency control and separation, I dun experience messy audio in general. Source is important too and having a high quality source would make the P3 sound really good. I wouldn't say it's the pinnacle of sound quality but they do a very good job with tuning even though it only comes with AAC and SBC codec. 😁

@Sean Talks Tech, that was a great review. Clear and concise. I am curious though. Since the Soundcore and Sony were so close, for your money, which would YOU buy?
Obviously Soundcore
just got these, and they keep disconnecting randomly or sudden sound drops. annoying as hell. with latest firmware
Hello sean. Sorry if my question is off topic but this is a really important question. For you, if money is not an issue, between Soundpeats TrueAir 2 and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live (Beans), which one is better. Please reply ASAP because its 10/10 event on Shopee right now hahaha
I think the liberty 3 is rated at 8 hrs with case 32 hours. So It wins on the battery.
yes, but only with ANC turned off
Are you using spatial stereo on the AirPods Pro ? Because they sound way better with spatial audio. Better than the xm4
Spatial audio is good for movies and stuff, but I wouldn't listen to my favorite music that way.
The ANC ON MY AIRPODS PRO BEAT THE WF 1000X M3 - MY AIRPODS PRO ALSO FIT AND FEEL BETTER IN MY EARS UNLIKE WF 1000X M3 - THE WF 1000X M3 DO SOUND LIKE AweSomeNess PerSoNiFied - I Still Kept The AirPods Pro And Returned The WF 1000X M3s - I also returned the galaxy buds 2 - I've not yet purchased the liberty 3 pro
How would you rank them for Ambient Sound/Transparency Mode?
I really wish more people would focus on this in their reviews. Like none of them do. I need a good, loud transparency mode.
Transparency on these are pretty neutral as they don't amplify too much of the surrounding but let's through just enough for you to hear. But with music playing, you're probably not gonna hear much. 😁 I hope they improve their vocal transparency which is currently in Beta. That would be really cool 🔥
Just don't wear any earbuds, your ambient is the best. Lol...
@@TheFrankCatena Apple probably has best transparency mode.
listening on my soundcore liberty 3 pro. the best i had. i have xm3 i had airpods pro, Samsung earbuds, nothing came close to sound and comfort to my ears
Hey man, love the videos, please can you review the soundcore R100? I heard they pretty good... But your reviews are one of the best man.
Thanks for the suggestion and support to the channel! I'll try to get my hands on one and Review them when I can yea! 😁
@@SeanTalksTech Thanks man
Sean review not bad but lack of audio sounds test. If not he simply the winner. Must hear it yourself then you will accept.
R100 is cheap and totally worth it. Liberty 3 pro is too big
You said Sony XM4 has best battery at 8 + 16h w/case but then you gave more points to the Soundscore that had 6 + 18h w/ case. Your scoring system is faulty
You then said Sony has the best features at number 1, Soundcore at 2nd place, but then you gave more points to soundcore. Are you high?
3 points for 1st, 2 for 2nd and 1 for third, he did it right
It's an accumulated scoring ya. 😁 like Rohan pointed out. I explained it at the start 🙏🏽
Are you high??? Lol
Question?-how did you do the call quality test? Did you speak into the bud actually by mouth or record the speech and play it bc it may be just me but the inflection in your voice changed per the 3. Suggesting you preferred the sony but unconsciously chaged the tone/inflection
This is so biased to the Soundcore. The Sony is far better than the other two. No longer can trust your reviews after watching this.
biased how lmao
Have you tried the soundcore? They're not even out of the public yet at least not in the United States
@@napillnik oh so you say they couldn't improve over the time? Actually I have p3 and liberty air 2. And they are incredibly good for me. Love them they are great in every aspect
I have a Jabra Elite Active 65T, I was thinking about getting a Jabra Elite 7 Pro, do you think I should get a Liberty 3 Pro instead ?
How would you compare all three of these to the Sennheiser Momentum 2 Wireless? I'm currently on WF1000XM3s and looking for an upgrade!
Sennheiser not strong on battery life and expensive.
Is the soundcore liberty 3 pro a worthy upgrade from a edifier NB 2 PRO? Thanks 😃
Hi,Sean. Thanks for your review. Between qcy ht03 and mpow x3 ( ver 1.0). Do you think which is better ? Which anc make you more impressive? Hope to see your reply. I’m your fan in VietNam
Choose Mpow x3. Cos I have it too.
@@alvinleewoeijye1861 tks for your answer 🥰
Any idea when the Soundcore Liberty Air 3 Pro will be released?
awesome video thanks sean!
Thanks bro!
Maybe you are a budget person cos $9 earbuds. This channel suitable for investors.
@@alvinleewoeijye1861 It is not about a budget. It is about which sounds good
I think the kz zex, $21, will still sound better than all of these.
I like fog Grey
Anker Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro or Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2? In sound quality?
Really interested with the soundcore liberty pro 3 but unfortunately not available yet in shopee/ lazada huuu 😓
For call quality Apple is still the King....go ask 100people...98% people will say that Apple is the best in terms of call quality.....
I would say it's good, but you can hear from my call quality test in the video. 😁
Liberty pro have better call quality from all
I personally think so too 😁
Great video
What’s better between Bower & Wilkins VS Liberty 3 pro ? Because they use the same dual driver design. And there is quite a big price gap so I need your opinion on this.
I honestly have not tried the B&W (assume it's the PI7) I don't think they have an specific sound advantage when compared to the Liberty 3 Pro, which is almost 3 times cheaper. The soundcore is very solid and I think you won't be disappoint. In my humble opinion, B&W have quite a bit of brand influence, it's like buying a Rolls Royce 😁
@@SeanTalksTech Thank you 🙏
Hi, I have been in search for a pair of new buds for quite a while now, here are my 2 cents for the PI7 (I assumed you're mentioning that specific model).
@@alvinleewoeijye1861 a lot of soundcore money goes to marketing. The profit margins on all of these earbuds must be insane for these companies
The most amazing thing is I can get the liberty3 pro with only 100dollars in Korea..which is super cheap..
I think the Soundcore is better in call quality? The Sony still have background noises bleeds in.
Choose Mpow X3 for the price range.
@@alvinleewoeijye1861this one is not available in my area 😢
Can we include more microphone tests? I need the recipients of my calls to enjoy very clear voice audio from my side.
@@NOPE96 you just pointed out the same features the Soundcores have. They have adjustable anc, & adjustable transparency mode.
@@gingram2 The Sony's transperency "talk-through" mode is automatically triggered though. And the ANC is even more adjustable.
Can you compare Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro and Jabra elite 7 pro?
Hello. I'll try to get my hands on one and do a comparison yeah. 😁
Choose Liberty 3 pro. Jabra elite 7 pro not as good as jabra elite 75T in terms of audio bass.
So you wouldn't personally suggest L3P?
How soundcore stand up against buds pro? I have s20 phone and im not sure to buy buds pro or soundcore? I think galaxy wearable looks very cool so im bit worried about soundcore app
Can you do a review on Huawei Freebuds i4? Thanks
I enjoy my xm4s well because I got the one of the perfect ears for these.
i have a question
if i use gaming mode on qcy earbuds Does it consume more battery?
Yeap they do drain a tiny bit more. But for most Earbuds they are not day and night difference. Audio codecs are a bigger influence to battery life. 😁
I will wait before I buy a Soundcore product again. The liberty pro 2 had many problems and that continued noise they were making was horrible. Tried 3 of them and all had those issues.
Yeah the Liberty 2 pro was notorious with that issue. But the Liberty 3 Pro doesn't have this issue. 😁 at least for my copy.
@@SeanTalksTech Now that gives me some hope! Thanks!
For ios user also can also use the soundcore liberty 3 pro?
Yeap you can my friend 😁
I didn't know if I wanted to go up to the 3 pros from my 2 pros since last gen mic quality was garbage. New ones sound great though
Soundcore is looking so premium and looks good I love lp3 pro
Looking to replace my heat-pissing raycons. Thanks
Soundcore is great I didn't regret from 2pro to pro plus now planning to get 3 apple totally rubbish and the pricing .
Great review. Really helpful to pickup the right one. Thank you. 👍
Thanks bro. Hope you enjoy them. 😁
@@SeanTalksTech Yes, I will go with Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro.
@@vivek_khadse Did you get them? How do you like them aby issues?
Exelent Review, me ayudo mucho a elegir... kind Regads
I returned the Sony for the Soundcore. Very happy with them.
@@deykno87 hey bro! Have you already tested the ANC of the L3? I am not sure between the XM4 and the L3
the touch controls in the right earphone doesn't work, what can I do?
I drive the Life P3 and they sound really great, great battery life and connection quality!
My Liberty 3 Pro will arrive in a few days though
I also have the Sony Headphones WH 1000X-M3 - Muffled Sound, good ANC.
Earfun Free Pro 2, almost as good in soundquality as Life P3, really bad battery life and super bad connection quality.
Can't wait to check the Liberty 3 Pro
Have a nice day
Hope you'll enjoy them my friend!!
Sorry, but i have the life P3 and the sound is poor in my opinion.
I was thinking about which one to choose. Thanks to this video, I can easily choose. Thank you.
I heard that they performed especially well on flights so maybe you should contact support.
Are they waterproof at all?
They are all IPX4 yea. Not fully waterproof but splash and sweat resistance. 😁
The rating numbers scale is odd, is it 1 out of 10 or 1 out of 20?
It's an accumulated scoring ya. So it's just who gets the highest score at the end of all categories 😁
Time to ditch the "unboxing experience". Do people really think this is important? Who cares? I still love my 3 year old iPhone because the unboxing experience is still fresh in my mind. (roll eyes). You did touch on going green. That is a better metric. Good for you! Good review of all 3. Thanks!
It's not because you don't like watching the unboxing thst reviewers will stop unboxing. You crazy
Sonys are better
which one has better sound quality?
Sony and soundcore both have LDAC and EQ.
Great video!!!!
Ooh yes yes. I made a mistake on the Sony. Yeap no Multipoint on that. 🙏🏽 thanks for checking out my video! Cheers!
@@SeanTalksTech You‘re very welcome, professional TechTuber.
Happy new Year in Advance
The Anker has a stupidly v shaped eq. That's why I avoid them..... They're so emphasized on base and treble
@@SeanTalksTech seems like you are an apple user from the last comments 😂
What do you mean by doing a good job phrase not what expected or brilliant?
@@SeanTalksTech Do they still have that awful noise like the Pro 2 which was famous for that?
