You can easily trip over the number of brands out there that have wireless earbuds. Soundcore by Anker is a bit different as they're getting fairly close to the "gold standards" and their Liberty 3 Pro might be it.

As Linus opened up the user guide/instructions, I hear Dankpods in my head, “Ew! It’s a roadmap!”
😂
Dank.
Funny thing about this road map is you do not have to open it up. You can pretty much flip it like a book because the way it was printed out. Yes I have a pair. I am not just saying this just because.

Have been rocking the liberty air 2 pro. Good stuff. Also really good to see that a manufacturer actually adds real features to existing devices. E.g. they added ldac support recently to my existing device. ANC and such really works well, without hiss.
I have them but I don't actually use any software because I don't know where to look, what is Idac?
LDAC >AAC> SBC
which size of eartips do you recommend?
Was really hoping that these would be covered on the main LTT channel with comparison. Soundcore is looking to become the oneplus of earbuds and they are very under reviewed by bigger channels.
I won't lie just went and looked it up saw the price and noped right out.
Also let's hope that comparison to OnePlus isn't prophetic.
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu considering that these are trying to compete with Sony, apple and Samsung, who charge 200 or over, I'd say they're doing well
@@mrslickman3061 Well considering you can get last-gen Sony's (WF-1000 XM3) for ~140$ as they're constantly on promo nowadays, and they'll sound better and have similar ANC, these really aren't a "deal" as much as just a nice upgrade over those.
The Sony's case is massive in comparison, and feels really cheap (plastic dipped in some awful fingerprint-magnet rubber coating), so that's about all you're paying the 30$ premium for, I myself own the Sony's and got them for 160$ a year ago, and they're fine aside from that terrible chonker case, and still sound better than any other sub-500$ earbuds I've tried.
The Soundcore's are about 50$ below the price of the current competition, which really is nowhere near OP(in their prime day) levels of cheap, and as the other guy said let's hope that comparison to OnePlus isn't prophetic of what's to come...
@@mataskart9894 Watch el jefe reviews video on these comparing these to the Sony xm4. These blow the sonys out of the water on everything but noise canceling. Not only that the xm3 are notorious for being uncomfortable and they have terrible microphone quality.
I do really like the way they went with the interchangeable eartips and "Wings" plus the good anc and sound. I would really consider buying these if they werent so extremely ugly... :/
I have the pro 2's for 2 yrs now ! When I started looking for gd ear buds I went through beats , Samsung galaxy buds plus and there live took all 3 of them back . Ended up with soundcore pro 2 after doing a bit of research. There are phenomenal buds ,super close to audiophile or just as gd imo. Love that u can toon Them for your ears , let's face up everybody hears differently. After a yr my mic started going out contacted soundcore they sent me a brand new pair ! Unreal .. I can't wait to get the 3 's so I can use them with Amazon music and tidal seeing the 3's have high res audio. They last me all day at wrk 8hrs I charge them for a half hr on lunch break there gd to go for the rest of the day .
short circuit definitely replaced Unbox Therapy for me..great series
I grew to like more pragmatic and less HYPE approach that Shirt Circuit channel has
Used to love that channel, I miss Tom. Great guys over there though
If you are looking for audio reviews I recommend gym caddy he goes in detail and test out audio devices. I used to watch Jim's room review before he retired from UA-cam
Both suck. Flossy Carter for me. If he says something sounds good, I don't even give it a second thought.
@@assordante2205 floss is a go to as well watch his stuff as well. Him and gymcaddy are both great for audio reviews. Linus is too much of a shill, he sometimes sound alike he is afraid to lose a sponsor
I would just like to point out that the Cybermen used earbuds to control and turn people into Cybermen.
When you meet a British man with a non-euclidean police phone box, let us know, I'll never use earbuds again
@@SiamHossain7 I will keep that in mind.
This was also the plot of the second Appleseed movie
Sometimes I feel that the word sponsor is misused, to me this is not a sponsored video, this is a paid showcase, which does not make it a bad thing, but I would call a video sponsored if the product is not the subject of the video, like LG sponsoring a video about OLED tech is alright to be called sponsored by LG to me even if the product is featured. Or maybe I am just mistaken about the meaning of "sponsored" but it seems like UA-cam channels like to underplay the involvement of the brands in the making of the video by claiming they sponsored the video instead of just saying it is a paid showcase.
LMG has done “showcases” in the past, but I feel like I recall them having to address some confusion about this subject on WAN show. So maybe they just determined that saying sponsored was easier for the majority of people to understand.
AFAIK it's different because (and I might be somewhat off here)
Sponsored: Product given to them by a company BUT they are free to review it as they see fit
Showcase: They are given a script to read from basically.
@@lurick Almost all products they review are free from the company as they’re often given before release with an embargo. Otherwise every Nvidia GPU review would be “sponsored”
Semantics are irrelevant. A sponsored video is when the product is given to them, whether or not they receive money. A product has intrinsic value, and is the same as receiving payment. A script also has nothing to do with it (as the person above me mentioned) because even in scripted sponsored videos, they aren't allowed to mislead the viewers. If the script says, "these headphones sound even better than Sony headphones," they can't read it unless they believe it's true. That's why they don't mention sound quality in stone of the sponsored headphone videos. Call it what you want. A showcase, sponsored video, a review where they received the product for free, it doesn't matter. They're all the same. They receive a product for free, money, or both. It's all a manufacturer giving them something of value (product or money) for a review.
Or we could just call it an ad
Great impressions and video, thanks! I'm still on the first gen of these when they were trying to go with the 'zolo' brand name and have been thinking of upgrading, looks like it's time!
I LOVE my Liberty 2 Pro's. I didn't expect the Hear ID feature to be as good as it is. It is fantastic. Makes my personal EQ sound so good. I will probably run my 2's until they die and then pickup whatever gen they're on at that time.
My left bud is acting wonky so I'm tempted to get these, especially since my warranty ran out a few months ago. How long have you had yours?
Do you use it on apple? And do the liberty 2 pros have LDAC?

Love these. I had the liberty 2 pro. Used them for a year in landskaping work 12 hours a day. In the cold and in the hot summer. For what I paid and how great it sounds. It was a great investment.
Got the Liberty 2 Pro in 2019. Absolutely amazing IEMs. Their "HearID" feature is really awesome.
I have the Soundcore Spirit Pros. As someone who hasn’t jumped on the true wireless bandwagon yet, they sound great for the price and the sweat and water resistance make them great for the gym. The magnet feature is nice too. Will def look at these once I decide to get into true wireless
Getting closer to my desired 9+ hours of charge on the buds themselves. I disliked having to take my buds (Aukeys) out on break to charge them, so I switched back to headphones (Soundcore Life Q30, which made waves a while back for being really good for ~$100 CDN price point). Maybe by the time the Liberty 5 comes out they'll have it to 9+ hours with ANC? One can hope.
I was kind of hoping for a review but I also appreciate that the sponsored showcase did not contain much review
I did the ear test on their app (HearID) and it came up with an absolute beauty for an eq. These earbuds are my favoutes, and I have many good ones. With the tweak, they are absolutely perfect.
These buds have more than impressed me.. well done soundcore.. well done
I've been using the Soundcore Liberty 2 Pros for about two years now.
They sound pretty damn good but there is one thing i wanna warn you about: they have a constant "white noise" as soon as any sound is playing. This is not noticable when running, being on the train or any other activity that isn't in a very quiet room. But if you're planning on using these inside somewhere quiet then please wait for some (not sponsored) reviews of these to check whether they have fixed that issue with gen. 3!
I have the same issue with the white noise! I also had issues with their wingtips they start just falling off after a while, after that I love my pro 2s
@@elmataclachado The wingtips are staying in place for me but they were really tight in the beginning - to a point where I couldn't wear them for more than half an hour at a time. My ears adjusted after a month or two though^^
@@kuwertzel8938 I have the 3 pros and I don't hear any white noise
Unfortunately all reviews I saw is sponsored I can say that anker is so good on marketing
I can confirm the white noise problem on my 2 Pros. Use them for music only. Need to switch to a different pair for podcasts and calls/meetings. But for music (especially base heavy) they’re great.
How much do they cost?

Been using the L2 Pros since they came out and even though I have a 1st gen Galaxy buds that work great with my note 10+ i prefer the sound in the L2s. Might have to give these a shot for the ANC
Soundcore have got some really great audio products. I had Liberty P2 and now have A2 NC, which are absolute best.
I got these! Absolutely love them. Music sounds different in a veryyy good way.
Do have any issues with them?
I might get these. Love the case design too
I bought these about a year ago.
What I like:
Touch controls, microphone and noise cancelling in the microphone is really good, enough so the person on the other side of the line can't hear almost anything other than my voice during the call.
What I don't like:
The battery on the buds last about 3 hours now and the case can't charge them more than once.
Thats a really poor performance after just a year. I need to charge the case several times per day because I use them for several hours during work. For the size of the case it should have enough battery to charge the buds 10 times.
I had other wireless earbuds and their battery last a lot longer after years of usage.
Wish you guys had this link up a few days ago. I already ordered mine would have used your link
I still use my liberty 2's all the time. They are pre-noise cancellation from soundcore though. They still work great, they sound great, and the case is teeny tiny compared to the case you just showed us.
I love my soundcore liberty 2 pro, but they are getting worn out and these look even better 💜
So good the purple version is in Germany not available yet, so I need to wait till mid November 🤷
I've bought four pairs of earbuds in total from soundcore and they have been by far the best quality for their price range and have been better than much more expensive ones I've had in the past.
That said after I saw the price of this I was like nope. I hope they haven't completely abandoned the cheaper priced stuff.
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu They just came out with the life p3 for $70 earlier this year and the p2 mini for $40 earlier this month. There's also nothing wrong with the price of these for the features and sound quality they offer. I bought a pair and I can say straight up you get what you pay for.

I'm mostly speaking about myself personally and others like me.
I have nothing against these headphones it's just I wish they had made me look it up that was annoying.
I probably should have been able to infer what these were costing when they were talking about the features but I've heard good things about this company has a whole and how good their products are for the money. So I'm glad there are people really enjoying these headphones they just aren't for me not right now anyway.

I did it. I bought these. Expecting them any day now. Was going to buy the Liberty 2 Pro if they went to $100, but since these came out and are only 30 bucks more(thanks to a subscriber sale cutting almost $40), I decided to go for it.
The airpods are just a fashion statement at this point.. they arent the end all be all. There are a lot of true wireless earbuds that are far better than the airpods
The AirPods Pro are still the most comfortable earbuds with the best ambient mode, that is pretty much agreed on by almost all reviewers.
I'm not saying there aren't better/cheaper alternatives, but the AirPods are still the best option for a lot of people.
@@YoavZilka ive tried the airpods pro and in terms of fit and comfort i disagree. And the reviews ive seen of people comparing same priced ear buds say otherwise in terms of fit and ANC

I just got the Life P3s and apart from the "trunk of an Escalade" factory EQ preset, they are super impressive for the money. The ANC is very comparable to my Sony WF-1000 XM3s, and the functionality and app are actually better I think.
do u mean default EQ on lliberty 3 pro is bad, but running the wizard is good? how does sound quality compare to sony?
@@tor13128 I mean the default EQ on Life P3 is extremely bass heavy, but it can be corrected with the app's custom EQ. Sound quality is not quite as sharp as Sony, but for 1/2 to 1/3 the price they are very much worth it. I would expect the Liberty 3 Pro to be good also but I have not tried them.
For price sub 100$ and all the features would you recommend the life p3 over the liberty pro 2’s? And apple and beats competitors?
