Subscribed off this video alone - Ive been focusing on the right shoulder, keeping both arms locked ( towel drill) and keeping my head focused at least 2 feet behind the ball at impact so not to rotate too much. Also, keeping my back to the target as long as possible ! If I do a 3/4 swing I have a "block fade" where the ball starts out straight but as the power drops the ball moves to the right. I will try this as my fade comes and goes ( HCP 9) desperate to get to 4 but NEVER thought of the left shoulder as a potential problem! Thanks! Best Simon
An excellent suggestion Julian for curing over the top shots! I, like everyone else do occasionally come over the top. This happens with driver, fairway woods, and rescue clubs. I always thought that the main culprit was a flying right elbow. I will definitely give your suggestion of pulling the club out rather than down at the beginning of the downswing. As always, excellent information Julian! Keep up the good work.
Julian, this really does work well. Thank you! My issue is opposite, where I get to much inside and hit a pretty strong draw. So thinking about throwing my hands away and behind me from the top of the backswing, I’m getting the club in a much better spot and hitting a soft draw. Thank you as always for your great approach to helping the gold community.
Your videos are excellent, you're my new favourite teaching guru for sure! However the sound quality on your videos is about the worst I've ever known, max volume required!! Nightmare if ads come on. Please try to fix🙏😀👍
@@JulianMellor yes since watched a few more and sound was OK 👍please make a video about hitting fairway woods heavy(not topping like everyone else has!) cheers

Awesome video and instructions last week I was slicing today I pulled everything
It works brilliantly Robert. Nice and simple, you just need to get the feel that’s all.
@@JulianMellor Thanks I’ll keep at it
Will be trying that at the range on Monday. Thanks Julian.
Remember not to just hit 3 or 4 shots and give up, this is a game changer for golfers and it really does work Robert 👍
Hi Julian, is this technique of pushing away also the way to go for irons, hybrids and woods? Thx and kind regards Henk
Hi Henk, good to hear from you. You can do this with all the clubs in your bag.
Hope you are both keeping well 😀
Thanks for the help !!!!
