Turkeys are worth 2 favour if alive, same as cavemen, moles etc. 8 favour gives a reward.
Also the shop fact is true, think its 5% discount
Are dead things worth half favor or less than half?
@@int3r4ct Exactly half. This means that every alive thing is worth at least 2 favour, which can be a useful rule of thumb.

With Spelunky 2 being my first introduction to this franchise I have to say, I seriously underestimated it. It's kicking my ass. I consider making it to the jungle a successful run for me. I want to zoom but I get punished for it. I can play calm and collective but I still run into not really understanding some of the mechanics still with the platforming (like when you try to walk down a ledge and drop what you're holding to hang on ?? ). I then run into the trouble of trying to sacrifice living enemies to Kali trying to gain favor, I will usually always die trying if there is an alter but I am learning not getting kapala first try is okay don't panic.
I am so proud of egg daddy for making progress and staying consistent with spelunky 2, it has not only made me return to this channel but has inspired me to keep grinding myself because it's possible to make it just another level further, just one bomb more, ect ect. I am proud of him.

They're not immune. You can cook them for about a second before throwing and they detonate before she can get rid of them.

Hey NL, if you whip an enemy or jump on them they are stunned for like 3 seconds, whereas if you hit them with something, they are only stunned for like 1. Really big knowledge to have honestly.

By pretending to be on their side and then stabbing them in their brain, I think he has the beginnings of terrorism
I honestly expected him to die because he never uses parachutes correctly. Great episode though, loving the series.
Protip : the Excalibur is placed conveniently on top of the lake to kill the big fish. Get in the wreckage at the bottom right where he can't bite you and swing at him (takes 3 hits I think). You'll get a helping hand which you need to keep safe in following levels for the shortcut!
Just using the coffin in the water of kingu floor is way easier if you're going that way anyways
You can actually take the pot of gold through to the next level and it will “heal” itself. I think it can take 15-18 hits per level.
An hour long episode? Our man has blessed us

You know what I love about this game? Your run can be massively OP, with 20 HP and 1 wrong jump onto spikes just ends it

Protip: if you wanna carry an enemy to altar living, use stomp or whip. Any projectile will not stun them for long enough.
Havent watched the vid yet but it's truly unbelievable that he got that far especially with his renowned dad energy.

Dude, Waddler is a cool addition. Could totally give him your shotgun or whatever after the Olmec fight and pick it up after you're done with Excalibur/the Scepter.
You can, but if you pick it back up you just have to drop it in Neo Babylon, anyway, since you have to carry the thing that has Qilin in it.

Hey NL, pretty sure it's possible to escape the lava trap without dying if you use bombs strategically to drop some of the explosives out and then ropes/climbing gloves to get out!

If you want to take a hired hand for the shortcut, in Abzu below the water there is a coffin where you unlock Yellow. Just open it after you kill the boss and immediately head to the Ice Caves.

If he still doesn't understand bomb range I'd suggest he think of it as 1.5 blocks if it isn't the exact range. For example if it's on the ground it will hit 1 above and 2 down and right corner will hit 1 left 2 right etc. Hope this helps.

Protip: if you don't have bombs or a shotgun, you can kill the mermaid boss by standing under her and letting a ufo zap her in the fekin hed. It's how I got my first win against her.
I don't have the game, but think I know the cheese trick for the turtle. To get in you only need the Lava to drop, and the Lava drops when the idol is disturbed. Explosions move idols, so if you toss a well-aimed bomb and book it, you might have just enough time to get back into the backfloor before the Lava hits you. Can anyone that actually owns the game confirm? If it does work, it means the Anhk and the lengthy "fight" with Olmec is unnecessary and is therefore Egg's new favorite route.
You cant go back through the door you use to get down there, because there is no platform to stand on. It's still possible to get out alive if you spend your resources with surgical precision but it's very difficult.
