This was tough to watch. Everything Stephanie said was true. Brooke abused all her kids emotionally! Brooke is the worse kind of mother. She continues to do these things and hen tell you that "I won't betray you". "I won't act on my feelings" when what she really is saying is "I have control of your happiness"!
@treg1980 no one forced Brooke to pine after Ridge at all costs and put herself through her own kind of misery. Just like no one forced her to sleep with her daughters husband, her sisters husband, etc. Those were her actions, actions that caused poor Bridget to go through hell, but of coarse Stephanie was always there to comfort and stick up for her.
Brad Bell destroyed the legacy of his Parents creativity of this show. Today’s B&B would NEVER be like the GLORY DAYS OF B&B! The only that has remained consistent is Brooke sleeping with just about every man. She slept & married Bill her sister’s husband. That’s the only thing Brad Bell kept consistent. He keeps rewriting the same storylines that his parents did, the only difference is it’s with Hope/Liam/Steffy a.k.a Brooke/Ridge/Taylor. UGH!
Brookes circle of relationships - Ridge, Eric, Thorne, Ridge, Dominic, Deacon, Hector, Whip, Oliver, Ridge, Bill. fun times Brooke to mess yourself with other peoples husbands. Stephanie was right about Brooke from day 1. Ronn Moss and Susan Flannery are missed on the show. I stopped watching the show after Ronn and Susan left. what the show has become now is a disgrace and nothing compared to what Bell Senior made B&B in the 80s and 90s. This show has gone downhill with the new cast. Thanks Mrs Svenson for posting this episode. Kindly upload some more episodes of the 90s.
Poor Bridget. Your mummy loves you, and she still IS your mother though she did have things in common with your fiance. But think very carefully about Nick. Once he's a cheater, he'll always be a cheater. Especially lying to her again disingenuously whilst he had an affair with Katie, who finally received a heart donor by her weepy shooting brother, Storm! She now went "I feel like my heart has been ripped out of my chest, by you Katie." :(
That's kinda awkward to listen to Stephanie talking to Bridget about abusive parents and giving her advice about it when we know what her father did to her when she was a kid...
Bridget, you're clearly misremembering some history. Deacon was not already in love with Brooke when you got with him. In fact, she h as d little to do with him since she was married to Thorne. Then, he left her sorry ass and she proclaimed to break up Ridge's marriage to Taylor. Then, he rejected her, Deacon was married to you but going after Amber because he's a disgusting jerk, THEN hooked up repeatedly with your mom whick knocked her up with Hope. Nobody in their right mind would've forgiven that first indiscretion especially if it was their mother who did the betraying
I liked little Ally much better. She was her own little person. Even as a toddler, Hope was in her role as "everybody's darling" - the cute little blonde girl. That's when she saw her grandmother Beth for the first time and told her "I love you" after 10 minutes. The child was spoiled far too much by her mother and even as a small child she got used to the fact that everyone was lying at her feet out of sheer admiration for this sweet creature. No thank you.
I can’t stand Brooke. I don’t like anything about her. She has to be one of the worst mothers on the show (If not the worst). Stephanie was very manipulative but she never slept and procreated with any of her kid’s partners. However Nick has to also take accountability here. If Bridget is saying that she acknowledges the way the two of them were staring at each other, then the onus has to also be on Nick. If he truly loved Bridget, he wouldn’t be giving Brooke those stares. He’d be suppressing them. Therefore, you cannot just blame Brooke for this. And yes, I’m vomiting in my mouth as I say this!!
But but at the same time Bridget if your mother that's in love with the same man that you're in love with your mother wouldn't cross that line if she really cared about you that's what Stephanie's trying to get you to see because that's Brooks patterning she goes after men that she can't have and Men that's already married to other women and that's not right and Brooke should know better not to get involved in love with her daughter Brooke is the parent you are the daughter she supposed to be setting a good example for you and your sisters and your brother she is not supposed to be going after every man that's in love with her her kids inappropriate and that's just nasty you don't go after man that's in love with your daughter or that,s in a relationship with your daughter. relationship with your daughter
