Jarvis is so laid back, it somehow gives weight to what he's saying - him just suggesting that michael jackson should get a bit of reality in his life makes the whole affair seem ridiculous.

In the same fashion, someone may think that something you are passionate about is over pretentious. You would have to understand why he wrote it. Read Earth Song by Joel Vogel. It took him several years. It's ok if you think that is over pretentious and it ok if I think it isn't. Everyone will not like everything that an artist does. That's what makes us different.

This is where I introduce Aphrodite Jones, (A True Crime writer, who was with other reporters covering the 05 trial) who originally thought MJ was guilty, until she was given access to the actual court transcripts, which she needed for a project. The man needed help, and the kind of fan who held him up as what appears to be the zenith of mankind probably did him more damage than the negative media. Because they indulged and made excuses for some of his more dubious actions...thereby giving him license to carry on down the same road.

He continued to invite bus loads poor / underprivileged parents and their kids to his ranch because he genuinely wanted to help those less fortunate than him. The only families that had stayed were those he had become particularly close to. If a family stayed, the kids followed him everywhere, short of following him to the loo.

It hurts you that he was found NOT guilty when he took it to trial the 2nd time and when Chandler released the audio recording of his wicked father coercing him into LYING on the King of Pop during the 90s with the first false allegation. He admitted there was nothing inappropriate and that his father made him do it. Michael Jackson was not a child molester. It was all fun and games to make fun of him when we were kids. Holly Butler How did MJ think he was some sort of god? The Bible actually says to be "Christ-like" and that's all the King of Pop was trying to do. Now following the Bible is wrong? The King of Pop is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't with you people. That's probably why this song and video went on to win so many accolades and to be critically acclaimed. It was a great song with a much needed message. Just look at the problems we still face today....

    4 - more like being *Simple-minded*.
When someone, (No matter WHO they are) is accused of such a horrible crime, you don’t just look at it “simply” - in your case, cruising along the *Surface* of what you’ve read & heard reported?
You can bet if that was a family member, or a good friend of yours, though you may have chastised them about how stupid they were to allow a situation/s that could be used against them at some stage, one thing is for sure, you would most DEFINITELY have -

So you're admitting you haven't a clue / done NO relevant research! (Rolls eyes)!
    Anyway...Test time:
    1. Why did daddy Chandler DEMAND to meet MJ BEFORE the story went public?
    2. What did he demand from MJ during that meeting & how did MJ react to demand?
    3. Who reported the story to the police?

    4. You could start by answering the Daddy Chandler question… (Though he is no longer alive, because he committed suicide a few months after MJ died) Actually, he shot himself in the head a within days after This Is It was released.
So, which is it? You can remain ignorant, clueless, or learn a few facts that the majority of the public still don’t know about, until an honest film is made.
Facts are Facts …whether one is a fan of anyone or not. Fact!

  • @tonm08
    @tonm08 12 років тому +3

    Exactly!
Cocker cocked-up! What some don't get is - what MJ sang about *IS* REALITY. He wrote this song back in the mid-90's, BEFORE so-called global-warming experts etc, arrived on the scene. MJ was well clued-in to the REALITIES going on. A performer who expressed this song with extra visual messages that night; His video version ends differenty. Also, MJ has often worn white shirts on stage for other songs which don't have any profound message. Some people should research before commenting.

My first reaction was to bitch about Mr Cocker, despite thinking MJ had gone too far with his Jesus act. Blessing all the people of the world... give me a damn break. And I love MJ. But Jarvis did what he had to do I guess.

100% Agreed. People are just so ignorant. Till this day, they still believe that Michael was guilty for those allegations. It annoys me how people seems to be seeking drama instead of the truth. For that reason, I will always come to MJ's defense no matter what. Here's a tip for all those haters:Don't ask us to prove MJ's innocence because the trial has already done that for us. Ask yourself HOW he's guilty for all those charges and be prepared to have concrete evidence to back up your claims.

Then you may as well say - Funny how some people speak about and accuse MJ of being guilty "like they personally knew him",
There are plenty of people who have defended MJ who DID know him more on a personal level and they have said and still say nothing but good about him. Funny how many choose to IGNORE what these people have to say too.
