the c's, t's and k's might sound off because you're kind of hiding the letter in the snare sound

and you can only direct so many sounds at a time, thats why so much is tonally implied by other sounds (You dont SING all of the words)

if you end the word "can't" on a hard sound you have to make a percussion fit at that point instead of being able to direct the other sounds around it i believe.
