Another WINNER, Gina! Gorgeous cards! I haven't done this technique in ages and a day!! One of the first techniques I learned when I started stamping 20 years ago!! I am going to play with it again...thanks for bringing back some "back to the basics"...awesome techniques that we haven't played with for a long time. Wonderful present day techniques but there's something about the "way back when" ones...You are such a BLESSING and thanks for being YOU!!
I've been watching your videos for a while now. And while I do not have Facebook, I love watching these "live" videos. It's relaxed, real and imperfect.
Hi from the UP. Love these cards and cannot wait to try it. :) So happy I found you. I have been watching LOTS of card making video's. I started making my own cards about 30 or so years ago with the wooden blocks :) Now with the pandemic going on I went through them all and gave a BIG box of stamps, paper and inks to three of my grandchildren, Their Momma(my youngest daughter) was so happy. They made cards for nursing homes, friends and families. Not to mention my daughters fridge is full of picture's they have made.
I agree Gina. Caring is the cure and promotes peace. This pandemic has proven we need to care more for each other in many ways. I am liking the new trend you are setting with your hair embellishment. Colour coordinate for the inks or paper colours you are using. When you talk to yourself, you are actually asking for your own expert advise. LOL Oh and I love your cards.
Gina, Gina….. I LOVE your quote about caring. What you said is SO apropos for today’s time. I somehow think that a few people having thought about caring- truly caring for others. I think if we did we wouldn’t be in so much mess we are in today! I will have to re watch this and write that quote down!
Gina, I lost my husband of 38 years just as this pandemic began in February. Your UA-cam lives have been a bright spot during this hard, hard time. I don’t always catch them live but always always watch them later. I just love your kind and caring heart! I’m fairly new to stamping so many of the techniques you demonstrate are new to me. Your entire line is so wonderful and if I could I would buy it all, :). Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate you!! Hugs.
Gina, you are incredibly wise! Wisdom. usually, comes from working through some painfull situations. On the subject of caring, the wisdom comes from dealing with non caring persons interacting with you and forcing you to develop a worldview that let's you deal with it constructively. So much of our problem in this crazy world deal with people caring for the wrong person, no one at all or with themselves primary. You seem to care about others so much more than yourself. Thanks for pointing out that we are meant to be concerned with other people. I appreciate this point of view. I feel your compassion and concern for others. Be assured that so many people are very concerned with your care for others and ours for YOU!! Be safe and healthy. Don't let the negative world wiggle into your mind and defeat all the positive things you have developed there! Love and respect you! You rock!
Gina, I have loved you for years. I now love you soo much more, since these live chats. You are such a down to earth lady and just my kind of person. There is nothing phony about you and you are soo honest. I love that. Thank you very much for all you do.
Your videos during this period have been a life saver. Thank you so much. I love seeing the old stamp sets, many of which are in my stash. Your videos were the very first ones I watched years ago.
Gina, thank you for this video. Very informative. I also love to color just to relax and I love all kind of coloring materials. Excellent techniques. Take care, Stay safe. ~Barbara
Love the improved wreath builder and especially your continued contributions to your community and stamping village! Thank you for your kindness and these wonderful technique videos!
Love the cards. What are we going to do when this pandemic is over? We have all started this new routine. And yes Gina, a few caring people...one of which is you. Thanks for the caring and inspiration.
Gina, years ago I saw one of your videos where you used crayons to color on glossy paper and the used waxed paper and ironed over it. I would love to see how to do that again. What do you call that technique?
Dear Ms Gina, you truly are the BEST, inside and out! Thank you, from your creativity, to your teaching, to your soul! 'What would WE do without you". Gentle hugs, from Canada
Love you, Gina! The world needs more of you! Thanks for the flashback technique. I have also been going through old stamps and paper during this stay at home time. Thanks!
I ended up loving these cards to the end of wanting to create them now. lol. I didn't think I would like the torn effect but it looks lovely. Thank you for this and all your videos.
Here's a tip that was given to me and I found it to be very helpful. Anytime you mix all 3 of your primary colors (or their blends) you are going to end up with brown. Red, yellow and blue= brown. Orange (red/yellow) and green (blue/yellow)= brown. Purple (red/blue) and yellow= brown. Etc.. Hope that can help those who are just starting.
Gina, I just love watching your videos. Your personality is great and you often make me smile, if not actually laugh out loud like you did in this one. These cards are both so pretty. Thanks for sharing this technique!
Although I wish I’ve been with you for years, I’m like a 2 year newbie! Each of these live videos just makes my wish list longer! Can’t wait to try this technique, thanks GINA!
Awesome technique! I love both cards and will definitely try it. Thanks so much for your kindness and generosity. I always look forward to your lives. Have you watched the gal at Altenew video yet? She's using craft room items to fix her hair since we can't get to our stylists right now. 💕
I thought your screen was blurry when I watched the live, but watching it now I took my glasses of and it's clear as a bell! :) guess I need to clean them Haha
Gina, thank you so much for taking time to make these fun videos where you share such fun techniques and uplifting message as well :). Loved the cards that you made, could you please let me know the type of card stock you used for blending? I know you mentioned it in your video but forgot the name/type. Thanks in advance for your help! I hope you have a lovely day :)!
I've never liked the tearing, but this looks amazing, so...gonna try it too. And thx 4 the colorwheel tip! I know it but also want to blend the wrong colors anyway, have to stop doing that !! And love that crayon idea, I have crayons, but have never used them. So going to use them now for real ! Thank you so much! Love from me here in Holland, was just to late for your live..so after watching for a couple of minutes stopped, cause it was already way to late here in Holland. But LOVE to watch your live shows (well..watch it after you're live) , I sleep so much better after such an inspiring, yet relaxing hour of Gina K live, thx so much 4 that!!!!
I've tried it, and it was BEAUTIFUL, so thankful for all your beautiful ideas and after making one of those cards, they are so beautiful that it makes my creativity flow again, SO THANK YOU SO MUCH GINA, YOU ARE AMAZING !
This was fun. I watched part during the live last night, then needed to stop, so came back for the replay. I think I may pull that set out and find the crayons. So fun!
Gina. I watched the Live that just ended. I loved both the cards and the technique and have been really enjoying your videos and learning from them. I also loved your final quote tonight but was not fast enough to jot it down. Some people Journal, but i keep a running list of meaningful quotes which has been a coping strategy since the pandemic. Would you reply to me to say again what the quote was. Stay safe. An avid fan from Canada. ♥️
@brendaelaine Waddell they are usually in the drop down of her menu titles too if you ever want to see what any of them are again. I just found this out looking myself. ;)
Judy Duncan Ausgtralia My son who has passed away from Cystic Fibrosis, left behind a very large box of crayons. I was confused when I started colouring as some pencils were classed as crayons. However, I am so very thankful to find a way to use them. I do wonder if they are ok as its been 16 years . Thank you so much for all your tutorials.
take care, cannot imagine what to do if that would happen to my son. keep 2atching Gina ! And creating and take care of youself, wish you lots of strength !!
I also get feelings for my stamped images.. I just love these cards, the color combinations are delightful. Tearing the edges brings a different perspective to the card. Though feel sad to tear a butterfly's wing. It is simply beautiful. And so inspiring. Thank you Gina, all your cards help me so much, as very often I do not get any ideas what to do. Love it, love it, love it.
Gina I received a package from somewhere. I know I was watching you on blending colors . I have a bottle of Gamsol and a pkg of things that look like rolled cigs and some kind of fancy holder with points on them and sanding boards. I know it was late and I didn't remember everything and probably fell asleep. HELP!
This is just a thought but black, white, red, yellow and blue. You could blend them. Black for stamping, white to lighten any color and blend the rest to make orange, purple and green. Just a thought
@@hollysmith7123 Thanks for answering my question. I have been collecting items and watching videos and I keep hearing everyone talk about the Gina K inks. Actually Gina K everything. Do the inks come in sets or do you buy them individually? I am retired so I have to spend wisely.
The have little ink cubes as well as the full size pads. If your on a budget, it might be good to buy the little cubes so that you can get 2 colors for the price of 1 almost. Both sizes are sold individually.

Beautiful cards! Can u let us know when those dies get in...that cut the perfect size.
Love both cards but I’m partial to butterflies!
I love that card, I think I can do it! And I I have crayons!!!
The whole time I was watching this, I wondered what about heating that waxyness of the crayons with the heat tool? What would happen?
Same...though I would iron it off.
Hi there Gina, so you know if there are any suppliers in South Africa that sell your stamps? I am from Cape Town in South Africa
Where can I get the long magnets you use in the misty?
I am a beginner and I have no ink, so if you could only purchase four or five to begin, what would you choose?
This is just a thought but black, white, red, yellow and blue. You could blend them. Black for stamping, white to lighten any color and blend the rest to make orange, purple and green. Just a thought
