    2. Various of Self-Portrait as a Tehuana, Frida Kahlo, 1943
    3. Various of lace headress and skirt on which the painting "Self-Portrait as a Tehuana" is based
    4. Various of Frida Kahlo's clothing

    8. Close of doll probably made by Kahlo
    9. SOUNDBITE (English) Claire Wilcox, co-curator of exhibition:
"It's quite unusual to mix art and personal items in the way we've done here, but for Frida, who was the artist who painted so many self portraits and whose construction of identity was so important, to be able to show the actual costumes that she wore and to see the flecks of paint scattered all over them, and to understand more about how and why she looked the way she did, seemed a very important subject for an exhibition."
    10. Various of corsets worn by Kahlo due to disabilities caused by a near-fatal bus crash
    11. Tilt up of prosthetic leg with lace-up boot, 1953-54, worn by Kahlo after her leg was amputated
    12. Various of medication taken by Kahlo

    16. SOUNDBITE (English) Claire Wilcox, co-curator of exhibition:
"Frida's identity, her appearance, her art, are all wrapped up in the landscape of her disabilities. She lived her life in pain but she transcended it. She distracted attention from her bad leg, from the injuries to her back by wearing brightly coloured, loose country clothing."
    17. Wide of woman looking at exhibition
    18. Various of Pancho Villa and Adelita, Frida Kahlo, about 1927
    19. Various of a painting by Kahlo in a book
    20. Tilt up of painted plaster cast loaned to the exhibition by the Museo Frida Kahlo
    21. SOUNDBITE (English) Hilda Trujillo, Director of the Museo Frida Kahlo:
"I think this is a contemporary interpretation but the main thing is it keeps the spirit, keeps the originality and understands the intimacy of Frida Kahlo."
    22. Tilt down of letter from Kahlo's husband, Diego Rivera
    23. Close of Diego's sign off at bottom of letter
    24. Various of letter from Kahlo's lover, photographer Nickolas Murray

    28. Various of The Bride Who Becomes Frightened When She Sees Life Opened, Frida Kahlo, 1943
    29. SOUNDBITE (English) Hilda Trujillo, Director of the Museo Frida Kahlo:
"I think it's more important for the world than in Mexico! In Mexico, every day is getting emerged but before nobody cares about her. Frida is an international phenomenon."

She is my inspiration. She was strong in facing her adversity. I have to live with back spasms and had a hysterectomy 10 years ago. Then in 2015 I met my soulmate and Twin Georg who I love 💗 like Frida Kahlo loved Diego Rivera. I am looking at the coincidence and correlation between us. Not to compare but realize that the Universe arranges events and people in such a way that makes sense to me the Viewer.
