I have this subwoofer box but my top is silver colour (found it at the garbage without the amp) , i put a sony 6ohm woofer in there and use Edifier M1360 2.1 amp plus changed the satelites to pioneer 4 inch small satelites good combo. Never knew that this philips home cinema set was so expensive. btw those philips subwoofers have large xmax but bad power handling loose suspension, very easy to unload even with low power and crossover not higher than 100hz

Man those things are rubbish, I found two of the florstanding speakers in my grampas cellar and listenend to them when i turned them up a little more the god damn voicecoil hit the magnet an started to rub phillips isn't phillips what it once was i have a pair of vintage threeway phillips speakers they sound great and can be pushed as hard my amp goes.

Yeah i know, i had those old late 80s 8inch x4 big wooden furnished boxes, good tweeter and crossover, they just didnt had much bass below 50hz
