Well done, Brian Freeman!! The first "lesser-known" author (to me), in about 100+ books I've listened to on YT, that has given me enough impetus to comment with a totally sincere, "Thank you!" Very cleverly written. Very well narrated!
The plot for this book was the best I’ve heard, and the ending was a total surprise and I never would have guessed! The whole story was original and one of the coolest I’ve come across. BUT… for some reason, it was boring to listen to. Not because of the narrator, she was excellent. Maybe it was poorly written. As good of a story, it held no excitement, and was rather tedious. I only kept listening because I wanted to know what happens. Worth it for the ending.
Synopsis: From New York Times bestselling author Brian Freeman comes a gripping psychological thriller about a woman haunted by terrifying memories--of someone else's life. On the Fourth of July, Hallie Evers dies at a rooftop party in Las Vegas. Hours later, she wakes up in the hospital, disoriented but alive.
4:22:59 quick question guys. Does anyone else notice that the little box on the bottom right hand side with the plus sign and numbers doesn't always work? Sometimes it works whilst sometimes it's not lit up.
I thought so too. I only kept listening because the plot itself was quite interesting and I wanted to know what the end game was. But the way the story of told/written was a snooze fest.
Thank you so much for providing this free book for us. 🥰 I just started it now. Not sure if the narrators voice fits this book though. Her voice would probably fit better to typical women's fiction, (just an observation..!🙂)

I was iffy about this book but it actually turned out to be a good book. I wasn’t expecting the ending. 💕

@@jillopofte8465❤ your use of the word snoozefest!! You are the only other person that I have seen use it!
@jrambo7495 Hehe, it’s such a twee description to use on something. When you don’t want to be toooo insulting about something boring. 🤣
