Koudelka - Live Incantation

This is the live rendition of "Incantation" arranged by Naoya Akimoto with live vocals by Reimi Tanaka. The vocals are a bit off-key, but it's still not bad. Not my favorite track on the album, but there's some interesting ideas, especially during the break around 3 minutes.

The three Shadow Hearts and presumably it's upcoming spiritual sequel Penny Blood, who features the same main composer as the other three.

The reason why I love this song so much is probably because it was the "start" of the iconic chanting battle themes for the Shadow Hearts series.
I love the series so much (including Koudelka ofc)

Is... is that OUD that I hear!? Whoa. Some composers can't even differentiate which "guitar" that comes from Arab or India (Joe Hisaishi and Yasunori Mitsuda used Sitar for an Arabic-themed song). Not Kikuta, apparently. Nice! An awesome track!

Honestly this is really cool! I think the slightly off pitch notes make it sound lonelier, wilder. And the part around 3:00 is 👌🏼

Without the same direction and passion behind the original's atmosphere, characters and dialogue... It would be a terrible remake, I'd be skeptical of it if confirmed.

​@MoistCheeks Late response but honestly I'd love for just a port or remaster. Even then i don't see much to be remastered, I'd just love for it to be more accessible to folks. A remake doesn't feel needed, like you said unless they had some of the original staff working on it, it likely wouldn't feel like Koudelka.

I used to really like Koudelka. I am sure u have finished this game more than 20 times.... I like the story and voice actors... difficult to find a great game like this in psx

The genre is Gothic JRPG. Best as it can be described IMO. It's it's own thing.
