While i still do not completely comprehend the purpose of the upstairs neighbors, i am beginning to like Bernadette, though Josie's vapid cluelessness is irritating. Bernadette is more level headed and realistic, whereas Josie is a self created "romantic heroine" living in her own fantasies. And it suddenly occurs to me why the upstairs neighbors are in the show- contrast. Gemma is a complicated mix, mostly realistic and pragmatic, with a restrained romanticism. Though i still think Danny is still a clod.
I think the point of the two young girls (neighbours) is to remind Gemma that the blonde one was going through the love angst which she had experienced until recently.
I loved this series, I wanted to grow up to be like her
Oh, it’s lovely when I see couples.. I always smile and say a prayer for them .. and think “it’s nice but not for me.”. 😊 I’m good.
Thank You

Anyone know where they filmed the outdoor parts to the series?
Well, Regent's Park Road in Primrose Hill was one of them, so in London overall.
