    This is why I hate when people say wrestling is fake

    • @jerelminter
      @jerelminter 3 роки тому +13

      Me too, if they were to get in that ring right now they would be in for a real shock as soon as they take a bump, because these idiots are under the belief that the ring is a toy like a trampoline that bounces up and down when they hit the canvas. In reality, these guys are landing on wooden boards on top of a metal frame with a thin layer of padding covered up with a canvas mat so how do you think it's going to feel ?

      @@jerelminter I've taken bumps on a wrestling ring and the whiplash from springing up on top off trying to beef up your back is enough to wear you out.

      @@micmaliss Oh my goodness, that must've hurt really bad, some people really don't understand how hard wrestling is until they actually do it.

      When they say it’s fake they mean it’s not real competition. They never say bumps don’t hurt or that wrestlers don’t sacrifice their bodies. They mean it’s fake unlike ufc in which the winner isn’t determined. Dont equivocate the meaning of fake, take what someone means and deal with it, don’t ignore what they mean and define fake in a way that lets you get angry

      @@AbleAnderson most ppl who say its fake dont mean that,the genuinely dont understand how hard wrestling is they believe nothing hurts and ppl leave the ring unharmed.By the way MMA is very competitive and difficult but in all honesty wrestling is harder and much more dangerous.

    The high back bumps are the scariest to overcome, I hit my head so many times, trying to tuck and land

    Big respect to these guys and the trainers seem cool too, very supportive and professional. I've taken many bumps when I trained and worked for PCW; the trick is to attack the mat palms down distributing your weight evenly. Good work people and the ring looks great for bumping!!

    I'm 6 sessions into the NJPW Academy Beginners class.
    It's realty fun to learn everything.
    I won't lie though. My whole body is killing me right now, lol. 😭😂

    Those rings don’t have much give. Just taking bumps like this hurts like hell. Imagine taking a bump off the top ropes or off a cage 😅

    I’ve been practicing back bumps and face bumps on my trampoline for a while. I think I have the face bump down but I’m still struggling with the back bump

    • @SantinoBros

      If you haven't already, do some more sit up bumps to gain body movement memory. When trying the standing bump, try squatting lower making sure to slap the mat as hard as you can with your hands.

    As a new student going through basic bumps, I'm curious why we bump ourselves, I keep thinking wouldn't it be easier to bump to something happening?

      You need to be able to control yourself on your own before you control yourself to someone doing something, it’s purely mental so you don’t get hurt
