THANKS FOR WATCHING
Great job! Never knew a humble point and shoot could produce such amazing portraits :)
Big Bobba thank you so much!! Yea I was surprised to see some of the photos when I got my scans back!! Definitely shows that you don’t need a huge MF camera to get a good portrait!!
Love this video! The results were awesome! I'm just getting back into film and can't believe I ever left. Hoping to do some portraits with a point and shoot too. Cheers!
I appreciate it heavy!! and Welcome back to the film side haha
Hoping your portraits turn out better than you expected man!! Happy shooting!!

Thank you so much man!! I appreciate the view heavy!
I really love the result!
Appreciate it heavy!!! Glad you liked the video
hi, nice video, i wanted to ask you in the photos did you try the extra auto focus button or just clicking focusing on the square of the viewfinder
I just used the square in the viewfinder
I haven’t tried the focus locking button yet so🤷🏽♂️
just got my af-1 super in the mail today, cant wait to use it :D from going through your videos i feel like the portra 400 film is the perfect one for this type of camera (i have no idea lol), what do u think?
Salar Bahador kinda sorta!! For me, bc Portra is an expensive film stock,I usually save it for my Canon F1 and use the cheaper stocks for my Olympus AF-1. This camera I’m using in this video is my like my everyday camera, the one I take for hanging with friends and stuff. But I did like some of the photos I took with Portra 400 through this camera!! It really just depends on wha you want to shoot and what you like!!
dope!
4 MOM thank you!! Appreciate it heavy!!
Does the camera handle every film sensitivity the same? Or how do you decide between a 200 or 400 film?
It’s just like any other point and shoot. The camera reads the DX code on the film canister and then makes the adjustments for each shot.
I have another video about hacking the DX code on film, but I didn’t notice a difference tbh. I probably did it wrong but It might be something you’d want to try🤷🏽♂️ anyways hope this comment helped!!

Thoughts on the Olympus AF-1 Super? You can control the flash in that what else is different?
So I haven’t done much research on that camera so I can’t say how much the specs differ between the 2
You should definitely check that one out, it’s basically a version of the AF-1 with a flash off feature
were you using flash in daylight shots?
Yes and no. No because I wasn't trying to use the flash and yes because the camera doesn't have the option to turn the flash on/off so it will trigger if it think the image is underexposed. So there are a few shots during the day that the flash triggered!!
How do you use the focus lock button? Please enlighten me.
Janoel Maralit man imma keep it real with you,I have no idea how to use it🤷🏽♂️ I think you’re supposed to like press the shutter half way and hold the button and the focus will lock but I’m not for certain
I know there’s a pdf of the manual online though!!!
I think she likes you man 👍🏼
this comment is hilarious because she is my gf of about a year and some months now
hey I just got one myself, what film are you using?
Welcome to the Olympus gang!!!!
In this video I was shooting with Portra 400 but I usually just shoot cheaper film stocks like Kodak Ultramax 400 or Fuji Xtra-400
Even Kodak Gold 200 sometimes
Just depends on the look your going for
@@jubileesantosfilm Thank you so much !
What's the music
Rizwan Ali I don’t know from the top of my head but I know it’s by Red Licorice. I get all my music from Musicbed
Truth - Red Licorice
So Quentin Tarantino has a daughter?
Trust meee 💯%
Is af1 or af1quartzdate ?
It’s the Olympus AF-1
It has the 35 f/2.8 lens on it!
Hate those auto flash cameras smh that’s why I stick to canon point and shoots
Yea sometimes it sucks but other times it can actually make a photo better!!
How ya like the camera? I’m actually looking to buy 1! Great video by the way. Subbing! Check my videos too!
I love it man!! It's my only point and shoot and it's the camera that got me into film. It's super easy and its a great camera to bring for quick shots and hanging out
