Came here for this too. I definitely raged a little bit for this huge missplay.
Also came here for this. A lot easier to see the line when you’re not the one piloting, but it was there for sure.
13:40 (Idk how to properly link) You should've promoted cleff for free retreat, buddy poffin to check for macargo, set hand to 4 through sequencing, grab a macargo/ energy and put that on top of deck so that you bibarrel into magcargo, evolve benched slugma, basin + attach for the 3 energy + Belt and then promote for guaranteed KO from your board state
Its a good idea to play morpeko (the snack seek) to see if theres a fire energy on top of your deck. Its much more consistent but honestly magcargo goes crazy when built right
I miss one of the vids, but glad i got up from my sickness. Magcargo ex is not bad actually, the only problem is the amount of energy needed added to your deck aside from ciphercodes and rods
This card is going to be the bdif with the academy stadium
What's it do? Google is being useless.

I'm sure it's been stated but you also hit for weakness on teal mask with fire typing. Ohko with bad flips regardless. Gusting teal mask with the slug in the active is a good way to attack the bolt MU.
I love the slug! :D I just wish it's attack was two energy and I think it would be a very solid deck

Do you think you could change the radiant charizard with a blood moon ex? It has more health and you don’t even have to attach any energy if the opponent has only one card ( in case it killed like cleffa) and you don’t want to risk if you don’t have a cyphermaniac.
I thought of a way ptcg couldve made any pokemon terastrial. They still can they just need to print the cards.
The Idea:
print tool cards of each of the type crowns for terastrials that can be attached to any pokemon except already printed tera cards. each tera tool card changes the pokemons type and has either an effect of attack (or maybe both)
Like the steel tera tool card could give a damage reduction or the fire tera tool card has a big attack, or the darkness tera tool card can discard a card from the opponents hand.
Idk it was just an idea I had that ptcg couldve done instead of only making select few pokemon teras
magcargo ex mixed with luxray ex has been good for me hand disruption plus deck diruption

Lol if you hit an energy off both decks macargo does 420 damage. We all know the snail's having a good time.
It’ll be fun watching you play this in the next expansion with the stadium that lets you put a card from your hand to the top of your deck.
I feel like this deck could benefit from the new Morpeko to surveil the top of your deck and give you insight on if you're hitting energy off the top or not.
i think the magcargo that burn the new active would be interesting here
some extra 20 damage would help. and also a good counter to gardevoir deck
