10:53 you had 6 metal energy in your 28 card deck, so the probability of whiffing is (22*21*20*19)/(28*27*26*25) = about 35 percent chance which is still unlucky but thats a high chance of whiffing
Tried playing this myself and, yeah, I feel like something has to give for draw support because most of the time I bricked if I wasn't whiffing the energy searches. I did also try running TM Evolution and Turbo Energize which helped me win one game really fast, but it was at the cost of consistency. ...Consistency I wasn't getting. I dunno, it's a fun idea but boy was it frustrating most of the time. Playing Tinkaton afterwards was pure catharsis, let me tell you.
With how many times you run into the issue of "Oops! All beldums!" On the bench maybe you can try and fit a turo in there for more bench management and mayyyybe the wild clutch play to heal off a copperajah
My heart goes out to the Festival Lead player: any Steel deck is pretty much an auto-loss, but Copperajah ex is an extra slap in the face. I shudder to imagine the despair they would have felt if you were also using Full Metal Lab.
Monkidori goes well with a lot of decks it feels like, fit it into my armarouge ex deck, dragapult, blissey, garde. Its such a diverse card and fixes a lot.of math
This is crazy!! I only like metal pokemon and ever since metagross VMAX got rotated, I was eyeballing copperajah! Sure enough you come through with a video for it😂
Hello LDF. Would you mind trying some of these options for your videos? Gengar ex / Munkidori Incineroar ex / Accompanying flute Alakazam EX / Alakazam TWM
Hey, respect for not conceding on that first match, the wiffs were insane. Not to mention how insane the ending was, K.Oing the benched Charizard to use the ultra ball. 👌 GG
If you want 340HP you could run Arvens and Rigid Bands (also lets you search hyper aroma, vessel, poffin) Or Full Metal Lab if you don’t want arven and rigid band
That was a close call though, Copperajah ex is a double-edge sword in terms of strategy, High-risk high reward. Its a Gyarados on steel, but it only damages on your benched pokemon.
Bro could you try another Gyarados ex deck? Its my fave pokemon and i will try a version again. With palkia first and then with bax. Also there is the heavy thing Tool card and it could help the deck to let energys in play. Will you do it? I know gyarados have realy havy attack cost.
This deck should be in bad deck Friday. It's a funsies gimmick that can work but well... You can also whiff your metangs, risk KOing your own stuff and be short on damage LMAO
miss sequence bruh, u have to remember what ur bottom card in ur deck and do metal maker in ur last action(prof first/ iono), not shuffle ur deck everytime

When you missed the attack I was dying laughing cus it’s so relatable
It does feel great that a Copperajah deck didn’t end up being released on Friday. I do agree with others that despite Munki, Rad Tsareena still great

48:30 you attack, but it is the opponent who takes a prize
Monkidori goes well with a lot of decks it feels like, fit it into my armarouge ex deck, dragapult, blissey, garde. Its such a diverse card and fixes a lot.of math
All that bench damage makes me think Rad Tsareena would be a good inclusion here.
No bench space ideally your bench wants to be 2 metang, cufant, 2 munkis
Why didn't I think of this!? Been using copperajah quite a bit lately but with Tsareena and community center
Lol that second match, surprised the opponent didn't concede earlier.
Rigid Band could be pretty good -70 damage could be pretty beneficial
10:53 😂 no that's too much 💀
Copperajah just so happens to be my favorite Steel type Pokémon. My favorite Pokémon overall is Swampert. (Best starter)
This is crazy!! I only like metal pokemon and ever since metagross VMAX got rotated, I was eyeballing copperajah! Sure enough you come through with a video for it😂
No Full Metal Lab or Rigid Band?
Hello LDF. Would you mind trying some of these options for your videos?
Gengar ex / Munkidori
Incineroar ex / Accompanying flute
Alakazam EX / Alakazam TWM
Can i ask? Copperajah Ex Deck play first or second?
Hey, respect for not conceding on that first match, the wiffs were insane. Not to mention how insane the ending was, K.Oing the benched Charizard to use the ultra ball. 👌 GG
Yeees, you tried my copperajah deck. Good luck
Drop rod to 3 and play tsareena or greninja
You have to play switches too if you play tsareena but I agree about 3 rods. I'd do that with another supporter card like Cynthia.
@@luniz4209switch is not necessary as you can also accelerate energy to Tsareena using Metang
No bench space for tsareena, your bench is 2 metang, 1 cufant 2 munk
It’s a radiant Jirachi angle
Semi new to ptcg: why not run luminous instead of the dark? Wouldn't it double as potential energy to power up copperajah?
You can't take the luminous with earthen vessel
@@samuelebrioschi5394 ohhh big brain, makes sense
@@TheJollyBlobsterpersonally I’d run a luminous and coloress and the full metal lab
I also just tried Munkidori with Netherworld Gate Gengar. But Gengar is not the best attacker maybe you can cook something there.
ldf, you can use electromagnetic radar to new ex pokemon or does it only apply to the old exs?
that card isn't legal to play anymore
Only old
Low key you can even play copperajah ex with the dodrios that would be nutty
I think people prefer steelex
If you want 340HP you could run Arvens and Rigid Bands (also lets you search hyper aroma, vessel, poffin)
Or Full Metal Lab if you don’t want arven and rigid band
i like it with the koraidon ex from TEF better but this is a good deck too, interesting!
Two ideas:
1. Radiant Tsareena to mitigate damage.
2. Luminous and Moonglow Reverse Cresselia for the finishing touch on a single prize.
Ehhh
it migt be good to have some luminous energy in their too
Nah basic dark is better because theres heavy rod in here
Wonder if adding Full Metal Lab + Arvin + Rigid Band would be a good idea. Makes your Copper have 360 hp
Just cant fit all of that sadly
Do this with Aggron Vmax... 270 + Munkidori + max belt... metang for setup... been having fun with it on the ladder
Run Froslass, Munkidori, and Samurott. It's a fun deck to play!
Nice deck. I like the synergy with munkidori and copperajah. Do u think munkidori and toxicroak ex would be good together?
Ehh maybe but not a lot of synergy
Is anyone having issues using DT on live?!? I’m playing the ninja deck u put out and it won’t recognize the DT as 2 energy. Bug??
That was a close call though, Copperajah ex is a double-edge sword in terms of strategy, High-risk high reward. Its a Gyarados on steel, but it only damages on your benched pokemon.
Have you considered Clavell and Rad. Tsareena?
Nope
I felt the pain with the metang not finding any energy 😭
Need the crystal cave as well
Crystal cave rotated
Isn't there another stadium that reduces damage that metal types take?
@@bernieswim Yep. Full Metal Lab
Rotated
Looks like you need Ciphermaniac's Codebreaking in here
It never occurred to me that Copperajah ex's ability negates the damage if one is benched and another one from the active uses Nosequake.
I was wondering if full metal lab also did it
@@aviereus9490 both contribute.
You should make a Ting-Lu with frosslas deck.
Bro could you try another Gyarados ex deck? Its my fave pokemon and i will try a version again. With palkia first and then with bax. Also there is the heavy thing Tool card and it could help the deck to let energys in play. Will you do it? I know gyarados have realy havy attack cost.
Metang is just a fever dream.
Awesome man!
Like this deck i can run it for aure
This deck should be in bad deck Friday. It's a funsies gimmick that can work but well... You can also whiff your metangs, risk KOing your own stuff and be short on damage LMAO
I'm surprised you are not running baton
No arven?! Madness I tell ya 😂
Not needed
could you please do a jynx ex hypno 151 scoop up cyclone deck
It’s that time of the format already? 😂
It’s always time
Couldn't you have attacked and then take the last prize by using munkidori, instead of retreating?
Nope
metal maker always first
can't you just play the metal laboratory stadium to remove the 30 bench damage dealt to metal pokemon?
Thats only opponent’s damage
Full Metal Lab doesn't "remove" damage, it reduces damage taken from an attack, and as was said it only happens from opponent's Pokémon.
miss sequence bruh, u have to remember what ur bottom card in ur deck and do metal maker in ur last action(prof first/ iono), not shuffle ur deck everytime
Not enough energy for one metang to be consistent
Cipher would be good for energy consistency
Thats why i play 3
@@LittleDarkFury just referencing the one failing multiple times in the first game lol.
“Their game broke”
No LDF, they’re being a poor sport
I give them the benefit of the doubt its not like I was playing a toxic deck
Sounds weird but maybe I would play a couple youngsters lmao
Noti gang
Good deck 😂 # trash ☠️
The first match vs charizard really proves that Charizard players are brain dead and play on autopilot
