One of my favorite guitar solos ever created!! This is what I call getting the Led out 😂 A sound of grit and inspiration that will never be matched. Awesome job on this solo. Rock on! 🎸
This Page's guitar solo is my No1 so far, used to be listening every day last time, pure genius & masterpiece. Love it. Of course, original performance.
Wow. Love the video effect and even the wardrobe from the ITTOD album cover. So cool. I can also tell you worked hard on the weird fuzz+filter sound. Fantastic job! Thanks.
You can always tell a Page solo. This is another of his epic creations that leaves many people scratching their head. I can't say this cover is note for note perfect, but sounds good!
Jeffrey Radue personally (this applies to the original song) I felt that the solo and its tone was a little out of place. Like, I feel a cleaner tone could’ve worked better. Just my opinion.
I'm using the blue box. But how do you get that swirling affect when sustaining notes? When I end a phrase on a particular note, the blue box justs cuts out lol
I'm a drummer, not a guitarist, and even with my untrained ear, I always knew this was a sleeper solo. One of those ones that gets hardly any recognition, but is actually quite difficult.
How can I start learning to play like this? I have an ear and can hear it but what to do with my hands. . . yah I can't seem to see how I'm going to get there.
Start playing along with records and watching UA-cam videos like this. Now is a better time to learn guitar than any other time in history. You have every resource available to you.
Can anyone comment on how to progress as a guitar player if I can't play the fast parts with the alternate picking? I know that it isn't that fast but it sure seems hard.
You even got the stumbles right! Pure insanity! Thank you. Have loved this solo since I was a wee lad.

Your dad is so cool
I hope you get it 😁
Did you get it?

MXR blue box. sounds awesome.
Good to see/hear you again - great sound and depth! Thanks for playing...
Awesome! Good to hear you playing again! Its great seeing you post a new video!
I like how you included the mark from the original album cover, in the centre of your video
bless your heart. was just thinking about you today. thanks for posting one of my faves
Nobody on this earth does Page better than this guy
On UA-cam maybe, ;)
@@RasCricketSmallAxe ?????
@@BeatlesCentricUniverse Mostly messing around but some of us watching are very good at playing Zep and Page. Cheers.
@@RasCricketSmallAxeThanks for explaining.

This is amazing! Are you using a baritone guitar? I see the strings look really thick.
I feel like this is Jimmy Page incognito.
Ooooooo now my body is starting to quiver....

And beautiful. I can play the first like 30 seconds of this but the stumbles get me and there's some notes in there I feel jimmy only knows
Hands down one of my favorite solos. I was in awe when I first heard this
Bonzo's shuffle is legendary
@@Andrew-jn9yphey, I've noticed a few people use the word "stumbles" in this comment section. What's a stumble? I looked it up but no dice lol
Please do Stairway to Heaven TSRT version
Jimmy was all over the place in this solo but you nailed it. What effects did you use??
sounds just like Page with the MXR Blue Box.
got it, thanks!

If I ever get an electric first song, first song im learning
Dead to nuts

What type of effects did you use?
Francis Dedumo mxr bluebox

it sounds dumb, but just slowly build up your speed. once you can go a certain speed perfectly turn it up a notch...then another and another
Gotta start slow as hell. Get the notes and then slow the song down to .75, that's how I learned stairways solo from 77
What gauge strings do you have 14's, 15's?
Those look like 20's to me
Page often played with thin strings, 8's. Makes it easier to solo and bend strings.
Blue MXR?
Yes
I think the effect used was a guitar synth box.
Mxr blue box if I'm not mistaken. I had one before and I miss it
What was that guitar’s name
SG
SG Custom*
Jimmy?
Well done. Just need to mix the guitar louder.
Yes, I wanna hear that great sound
Somthing about this solo cant put my finger on it.....
Jimmy's soulful playing
NIce but your Tone is Off, adjust the slightly less fuzz sound and youve got it mate.
Let's see you do better. : )
