My beagle does that when you say like "wanna treat?" Or "wanna go play in the yard?" For mine at least it means like "What?! I'm excited! Yes let's do it!" I'm guessing it's the tone he's speaking in 😁

I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that the famous beagle head tilt is because their floppy ears cover up some sound from getting to their inner ear--it's like they are taking off their headphones, one by one, so they can hear us better when we are saying something that sounds exciting to them!

@@OlivertheBeagle When we took our German Shepherd to obedience classes, the instructor had a Rottweiler who understood German commands, as well as English. It was impressive to see how well he obeyed both languages. Dogs are very intelligent with consistent training. I'm sure Oliver could master the challenge. He is WUNDERBAR!!! God bless, Nancy

My sister has a friend that married a Jordanian man. They moved to Jordan she learned Arabic and her kids spoke it. One time she came over to the house and her youngest daughter around 3 or 4 was speaking Arabic to their beagle. It was the cutest thing. Same head tilt, same confusion, but also love. It was so sweet.
