Yeah, I don't get how anyone could equate "hydro land" with "public property, free for all to use." A pleasant encounter between fellow human beings. I hope that the world changes and this becomes more commonplace as it did when I was younger and the world a bit kinder and less owned. Seems to be enough for us all to share if only we cared for each other like these people seem to. Children need to be in nature if the human race is going to survive on earth.
Right through the gate with posted signs... What? This is private property? Really? Well I drove through a gate that had 2 posted signs by it and seen it was posted private property. I didn't know it was posted private property though!... Typical jeep people... Go out, trespassing on others land, tearing it up and spinning the tires on loose gravel Luke you're doing something... Thats the worst...
I have a piece of hunting property in remote NE Oregon. It's all posted, but every time I am up there, I run into someone on the property or there is evidence there have been people on the property. The road literally dead ends at the base of a 9,000 mountain, so they have to know they can't go any further but they do it anyway. Jerks.

Beautiful landscape! Absolutely beautiful! Owners of such properties are not usually this cordial. I would be leafy of going back, you never know who's packing these days, and if you are a repeat offender, who knows what could happen. But, a nice cruise through the woods nevertheless.
This was near Rice Lake in Ontario, Canada......Canadian's don't, "pack," the only danger he would have been in would have been getting yelled at. We Canadian's are typically polite and friendly though for the most part.
OK, Most places have basic requirements to have Private Property. First would be that it is fenced off, Second would be access gates must be locked (With keys given to people like the electric company who will have retained access rites to all their pylons/property. Thirdly would be that Private Property/Trespass signs will either give a Min or Max distance between them and on all gates? If that track came to the edge of the woods then you might be able to put a gate across the last 2 trees? Because most of the time people are actually charged with damaging Property like cutting a lock on a gate.
If we controlled our numbers and brought them down to an acceptable level that each land mass could naturally support, and got rid of this ridiculous incompatible system of economic growth which is destroying everything with the need to endlessly multiply and grow which is over populating and destroying this beauty. Then we all could live in such beauty instead of living on top of each other in overcrowded cities which are getting bigger and bigger and destroying such beauty because the human race can't control its numbers. that is why we live in a society where only the rich ,the wealthy can have such beauty and own such beauty for their own personal use. but who is to blame for this, the people who vote the elite in so they can live in a lap of luxury while the rest of us either scrape a living or wallow in absolute poverty. if you wish to be surrounded with such beauty then you have to make sacrifices so you can, otherwise this beauty will disappear sooner or later. because you live in a confined space ,a planet and if you keep multiplying and covering this planet in concrete and tarmac then this beauty will be gone for good.

Tison Tison, when I was younger, I was like you. I don't want to associate with young people. I want to be friends with seniors, because I wanted to learn the wisdom of them. God bless you.🙏
@@BillSmith-ku1tp "our" no one owns land that's just a figment of your imagination that you and society recognize as true. The land belongs to no one let it be free...
The owner was awesome. Great guy
That was how it is when you meet and greet a fellow human . Politely untill its time not to . You both acted in good faith and all came away better for it . I bet if they ran into each other later they greet each other like friends and stay that way .👍👍👍 Great lesson for your children to see the right way to approach this situation . Glad things went well .
Great talking skills guys. Much respect! Smartness should be praised!
only in Canada can you be completely in the wrong and still be treated like you are a long lost friend.....I'm completely floored by the property owners reaction to these blatant trespassers....I to live in the country and this is not how crossing property lines gets handled here in the states..wow
Dave King Yeah, your life gets threatened in the states.
It is here (the midwest)Kids from town tromp all over private land to go fishing and if you do NOT want hunting on your land you need to post it or the assumption is that you don't mind.
why because people who make honest mistakes should be shot? we are kind understanding people.
That was a pretty cool ride. At least the guy was 👍
Then this would be the place to go ride every weekend if you are treated this way!
If you don’t own it , then don’t get on it, signs or no signs , trespassing is trespassing
That is the stupidest shit I have ever heard there’s such thing as land that is open to everyone. Not every piece of land is owned, and if it’s not marked, or fenced then how are they supposed to know
Banšhee just know what is yours
If you stray into private land and there's no signs it's no one's fault.
Paul Franciosi when you stray its trespassing, you need to be aware when it doesn’t belong to you, it goes for any dogs a person owns also.Signs are only good so far, maybe good for honest folk.
@@allandavis6821 yeah but if there's no signs it's not your fault more so if your not from that area.we have Lord lamptons land down the Road theres signs and fences if you get caught on that land there's game keepers with shot guns who will basically kick the shit out of you.But we all know it's private land.if there was no signs you wouldn't know.
You sir, you the land owner have my greatest respect as a person, your land is amazing in its diversity and is as green as England.
Your attitude was relaxed and friendly, you even saw the humour in things like when he lost his hat, you even gave him advice and informed him he may find the route difficult on his quad.
I feel that I must point out for your future safety and the safety of your family, I saw signs, I saw many signs when you were going through the wooded area, there were fallen trees, trees crossing other fallen trees and bent trees plus trees that were fallen at certain angles.
Anyone who has an interest in Bigfoot will have seen the " signs " that the Bigfoot leave deliberately.
If you haven't guessed I'm not a believer in the monkey man, just pointing out the nonsense of it all.
You have an amazing property and I thank you for showing me some of it.
Perfectly said, I agree
That was 15 min. Of my life I will never get back.
Lol me too , I was, waiting for the sasquatch to jump out from behind a tree a say BOO ...Amen 😅🤣😅🤣
RICE LAKE, for readers who don't live is southern Ontario is about 30-40 miles East of Toronto.
i use to own 60 acres near lake oroville in california on a year round creek with huge swimming hole . we had to shut it down to the locals because of trash and fire hazard . it's a pity that people don't know how to behave properly ,ruining it for others .
when i moved to europe i was shocked at first becsue they have "right to roam " laws , allowing people to your property but not close to a house . it works here because people for the most part don't leave trash or steal stuff .
The way life should be!! Owning extensive property has its challenges. While we post our property we also realize during financial downturns there are neighbors that fish or hunt to feed their families….we don’t ask…and they don’t tell…..finding the remains of a plucked Turkey during the week of Thanksgiving leaves us wishing others well!!
Wow that was so neat traveling that paved rode. Felt like I was riding along with you and the owner.
These power line trails are in great shape, where I live you take your life in hands going on these as they are so rutted out, nice video.
There's no such thing as "Hydro land".... When transmission lines cross someone's property it's still their property...
In Australia that power track is still an easement
@@breambitch does the existance of a utility easement mean general public is allowed on it, or is it for the access of the utility operations people only.
Lyle Stavast only utility persons are allowed on it. I have a cattle gate across mine with a number for crews to call to gain access to the lock code.
@@lylestavast7652 the easement is owned by the power transmission company so only power company employees and vehicles are allowed
@@breambitch not a public easement is it for every Tom dick and prince harry
You don't pay attention to posting signs, don't worry, my trails cams have taken Your picture already!
when i catch someone on my land, im not very nice about it. but i like this guy. Canadians are pretty mellow folk.
When I see someone Trespassing on my land I go down and lock the main gates then they have to sit there and wait on the Sheriff department to come and let them out. They never come back
A smart cookie would already have bolt cutters ready to use. No need to wait for the pigs
I welded up my gates myself. They have built in lock shrouds. They are built out of left over steam pipe and 1/4 stainless steel plate. the inside of the pipes are packed with 1/2 stainless rods. They would have to bring a cutting torch or a demolition saw. Also a battery powered angle grinder would only bounce on the stainless. Also a lot of cameras. I own a commercial plumbing company and we have never had a theft
@@mcheese420 seems to me like YOUR the reason we don't want people trespassing in the first place.
A BIG thumbs up to th property owner! Great guy!
Everett is the coolest land owner ever! Nice drive though, you may have just sold a jeep to him in his future :)
Gee, what if he catches him again...and again....?
I wonder.........
I see the guy is a bee-keeper.Saw the hive off to the left.
Sorry,right,haha.
What a lovely positive interaction for a change a farther making nice memories for his girls and a landowners good anough to see it spot on
Hi I just found this video and no i didn't read them all but enough of them and they reminded me of my Father when we were out Bird hunting or whatever and we come up to somebody hunting or whatever and would stop and ask if this was the road to El Paso and that would start the conversation and it work every time jk AZ
Someone gets hurt on your property they can sue you even if they have no permission to be on your property.
not in the US
Anybody can sue for anything but it don't mean they will get anything!
A pleasant encounter between fellow human beings. I hope that the world changes and this becomes more commonplace as it did when I was younger and the world a bit kinder and less owned. Seems to be enough for us all to share if only we cared for each other like these people seem to. Children need to be in nature if the human race is going to survive on earth.
It was posted on the post to the right of the fence gate. 1:24
Yep
Cool and polite!
I'm traveling around the USA in my 25 foot class A Winnebago Warrior motorhome with my little dog Tinkerbell making videos.
That's amazing that your little dog Tinkerbell can take videos.
Father providing for his family at 11:15. .. So cool!!!
40intrek norhing happened at 11:15?
Matt Brad 11:30
Anyone catch the no trespassing sign at 1:25? Lol the wind folded it when they drive up to it.
Kudos to the property owner for how he handled this...
The landowner had friendly sarcasm and ran me mate through the Bush!
I was confused who was who at fist good video and good land owner. LOL thats a lot of land
Looks like to me the owner wanted them to follow him out that way so all the tree limbs would beat up their atv haha 😂
I thought he was driving a lawnmower 🤣
That guy owns a lot of land!
Have you ever been to Canada you can go miles and miles and miles and not see anything
I hope whoever has access to this lady and appreciates it
Would love to just take a nature walk here, love the land!!!!!!!
That is the most awesome peice of land.. I wish I could go off roading there 😂
That is one decent-ass human being right there.
The guy was nice! That is some beautiful property they have!
I have a piece of hunting property in remote NE Oregon. It's all posted, but every time I am up there, I run into someone on the property or there is evidence there have been people on the property. The road literally dead ends at the base of a 9,000 mountain, so they have to know they can't go any further but they do it anyway. Jerks.
Buy a gun
@@Bakrawinti Oh, I definitely carry, but it's primarily for bears and mountain lions. Hopefully never need it to defend against humans.
I now feel like a jerk for not wanting my neighbors to come onto my property all the time.
Looks like he knows where he's going
is that 4 wheeler electric?
I dont hear any motor!
I knew that was Ontario before I even read the description haha.
If this was in Arkansas the owner would have killed you and buried your body in the woods and sold your vehicle at the swap meet.
Ha, I'm from SW arkansas and I feel like Oklahoma would do this too
I'm not sure if you're being serious or not, but based on some of the other videos I've seen, you might actually have a point there and it's one of the things that drives me nuts about the States. Clearly this guy has simply not realized he had moved on to Private Land and the owner was very chill about the whole thing; this is how it should be handled on a "first offence"...
in.
Shoot, shovel, and shut up
" one of the things that drives me nuts about the States." Nice ignorant generalization. I can safely assume you've never even set foot in the US.
The property owner was a very nice man. More people should be like him.
u showed respect & yur right That was The coolest landowner Ever!!! ^5s Yall Be Blessed!! Brian, Nor- Cal
always get permission from property owners
What a beautiful place 🙂. What kind of vehicle is the trespasser driving, it looks so smooth and quiet 🤫?
It's a 2004 Jeep Rubicon
Some people in states are friendly, most not. If you see cattle, especially in Texas, turn around and leave. We have a lot of trouble with illegal people doing illegal things on private land. Traveling on state land you're more likely to run into Marijuana growers and you won't come out alive.
Brad Taylor lol what do Yu think these guys were doing?? They had hash on hand pretty sure they were looking for some new grow spots
I don't watch this regularly, so I don't know what they are carrying "on hand". This guy was lucky to run into someone "nice".
Looks to me that he is actually driving along the easement for the high voltage transmission towers There is usually a track or road down these for the maintenance crews to the towers
The land is still private land, the owner has to allow for access to repair crews but anyone else still has to follow the trespass laws.
A joint for a road trip! Way to go!
I'll smoke to that :-P
C'mon man........2 little girls. No helmets and not even eye protection as they go through place after place where branches are whipping across their faces.....but at least he gave them an apple.
Is this in canukkan Canada
I think you knew you were on private property I would call the sheriff and have you arrested I don't have any sympathy on trespassers they all think they are entitled
If it gets to be a problem you can always lay down some hidden spike strips on the trails.
I've considered that. I was at a crime watch meeting where the cop said it would be considered a trap. Illegal apparently.
I like how the guy said he cut that trail himself but also said that trail is over 200 years old that guy looks pretty good to be more than 200 years old
Even a 200 year old trail woul be grown in, it doesn't look very well cut out, he needs to make turn around and brush hog it too.
As you were following the land owner, I was hearing the 'Deliverance' theme in my head.......
Wow that was lame and to blow by the sign come on dude
3;13 to your right where tree is bowed. What runs off into the woods?
Us Canadians are smart , he had 2 kids on his rig , and a guy telling stories . Landowner was packin Canadian peace offering , but did not know what intruder was packin . led him down the not so garden path , left him feeling the way he should feel , when he meets a Canadian . Wow , what the hell just happened , that guy was pretty cool !!! But not all are that way , lots believe in Stay the Hell Off !! Even here we like our privacy , and never , confuse friendly with stupid . Eh . Have a nice day !!!
If you ever do go on some ones property Please remember if you open a gate you close the gate
If you open a gate in Texas you're probably getting shot
beautiful property
A lot of the Hydro line crosses private land Hydro have a right of way no one else theses guys should show some respect, and find out where the Crown Land is.
coolest property owner ever! was like that around here back in the 1980s and 90s
I have property that folks are trespassing on A Lot. Its tiring and disrespectful. The time one of them gets hurt and wants my property insurance provider info..or broke down out here ? Lord help them. I'm for being nice but trespassing is Not Right and they should Not do it. Period
Its beautiful ,i see why people like it. I would never trespass ,I would fly over it.
Thats a cool guy. Yous got a nice trail ride with no bad ending.
Owner is cooler than usual. Good guy
Dang how many acres??
OK, Most places have basic requirements to have Private Property. First would be that it is fenced off, Second would be access gates must be locked (With keys given to people like the electric company who will have retained access rites to all their pylons/property. Thirdly would be that Private Property/Trespass signs will either give a Min or Max distance between them and on all gates? If that track came to the edge of the woods then you might be able to put a gate across the last 2 trees? Because most of the time people are actually charged with damaging Property like cutting a lock on a gate.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! WHAT I WOULD DO TO LIVE IN THIS BEAUTY
