NegativeFeedback you need to get in touch with Adrian Bliss, he makes the most amazing super 8 videos they’re absolutely brilliant. Loved your video too 👌👌
As a foreigner who has lived in rural USA for a year, I have to say that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this film you made... it's the most accurate representation of the America I have experienced that I have ever seen.... You are so talented... thank you for this, because the Hollywood depiction just doesn't really cut it for most of the USA. Please make more videos like this!!!!!!! Also the soundtrack was amazing!!!
it's so beautiful to see a person's view of america. it's especially beautiful to see that there are little to no tourist-ey areas. it's all just the country at its most natural state
such a lovely catching and positively melancholic video. Back in the days this was the "best" way to capture moving images but technology moved forward to be as naturalistic as possible. On the journey of development and the accessibility of foto and filmography some of the magic got lost. So today this kind of capturing light brings back the deep and real feeling and inspires us to shoot and enjoy images like we wouldnt know about the inflationary use of picture and camera and the crusted reception of society. Thanks a lot for this beautiful artwork!
super 8 is definitely my favorite camera to shoot with it feels so raw and pure (after the 16 of course) beautiful job on the movements and composition !
What a great video! My cousin used to make little Super 8 movies back in the seventies and seeing yours was a great blast from the past. I´d love to see more of this kind!
Back in the day we only had reversal since negative would have required making a print. The old Kodachrome 40 was nice, but modern scanned negative stock looks just fantastic. Pure silk! Great shots!
Please please PLEASE upload that video about shooting super 8! I’m dying to see that video! Really loved this one (and even more after watching it 2 times a day since it’s been uploaded)
I clicked like on the video before I even saw it. I just knew, thank you so much. I needed this. You have been a huge inspiration for me and my personal film photography adventures.
I just did this same thing a few weeks ago on an adventure to Europe! I loved this and I can't wait to get mine back after seeing yours! Cheers my friend!
I'm feeling nostalgia for a time that isn't even my own. Bravo sir, this feels so familiar yet being completely foreign to me. Like they're my own memories. I'm just blown away.
well I know super 8 pretty well and I think what you did with 3 rolls is pretty amazing if this is really your first try. The scan job is amazing as well. I think it did a good 30 % of the super great final result. That camera you did use is very good as it seems : 01 you never missed focus .... well you probably did sometimes and edit out but the important thing is that the content is there. 02 if the film used is all 50 d ... well the night or low light exposures are amazing. Again, this professional frame - frame scanners are amazing tools. BRAVO
gOD the soundtrack is bliss. This really has inspired me to make some super 8 like films in the near future. I know it's a sin to even talk about replicating here in the film space loool, but i don't have the means of shooting film for video so welp.
Loved this and I am looking forward to the Super 8 video you talked about. Just recently started shooting some Super 8 myself on an old Bell and Howell brick and I have to agree it is very expenseive. It's scary every time I send film off not knowing if the camera screwed up at some point during filming. Looking at buying a more reliable camera soon! Very fun shooting all around though.
if I had the chance to go on a road trip in the American south I surely wouldn't run around photographing my mates aiming to give nostalgic feels. Man what is this.
So beautiful, I love the look of Super 8. I'm amazed you got such good low light footage from 50D! and I just shot my first cartridge this last weekend I can't wait to see how it turns out. It's definitely not free but it's not prohibitively expensive either. Btw 16mm only costs a little more to shoot and process than Super 8 ;)
shoutout justice 1 more time, check him: ua-cam.com/users/redytsuj

I think what makes this work so well is that your shots are of more timeless elements, love iit!
super 8 is definitely my favorite camera to shoot with it feels so raw and pure (after the 16 of course)
beautiful job on the movements and composition !
It's Justice Der playing the guitar, I knew it! Blends in so well with the video!!
Nora's Negative Feedback debut.
there is soemthing about film that doesnt necessarily capture exact detail but instead captures the emotion and memory of the scene. love it georgy
5:43 - The shot in the room bathed in this yellow sunlight drawing ghostly shadows is surreal and reminds me of Saul Leiter. Cheer
Really nostalgic, amazing score by Justice Der too
feels like stepping in a time machine. well done man

what i love about this is, thats how i feel memories look in your mind. kinda faded, not as clear as when the moments happened
Very few things bring such an unbelievable sense of peace. Beautiful film and music.
Beautiful and absolutely stunning George. It’s put a massive nostalgic (Americana) smile on my face.
Amazing to see this stuff in 2018. It emits many warm vibes.
Really enjoyed the more intimate and close up shots of people, loved the lighting and the skin tones.
A few friends having a good time, have been following you guys for about 2 years now and this is one of my favorite so far. Keep it up George!
put a smile on my face. I am currently waiting for my super 8 camera to come in the mail so I can finally explore this beautiful format on my own.
Please please PLEASE upload that video about shooting super 8! I’m dying to see that video! Really loved this one (and even more after watching it 2 times a day since it’s been uploaded)

NegativeFeedback + Justice Der + Leon Bridges = HIT THAT BELL BUTTON PEOPLE
Its so strength to see 8mm film in a modern context normally its 1976 or 1966. It has a truly unique look. Great job.
Pretty cool video on Super 8, it definitely has a completely different look than any other kind of video I've seen, I quite liked it! Good job!!
A new favorite. You're an extraordinary storyteller. And not a bad photographer.
Something about this takes me back.
My favorite part was definitely at @5:42 it made me chuckle. Amazing work as always.
That is really good George👍 I wasn’t expecting anything like this but it’s nice and refreshing ❤️
I clicked like on the video before I even saw it. I just knew, thank you so much. I needed this. You have been a huge inspiration for me and my personal film photography adventures.
wow i by chance came back to this video 1 year later on the date. Great video!
This is next level dude, amazing footage. Like watching a movie. When the first person spoke without sound I was hit with a wave of emotion.
I just did this same thing a few weeks ago on an adventure to Europe! I loved this and I can't wait to get mine back after seeing yours!
Cheers my friend!
