It’s hard to call this game greedy when you hear over 20 million people getting a battle pass and character for free. 20 million may not be its maximum play count during its lifetime but that sure as heck is a lot.
For a free game, with all its content being possible to earn without spending any money, it’s shockingly good, games like this usually have no issue charging around $60 and not even including battle passes

Well, I bought the battlepass before they shut down, I SURELY DESERVE AT LEAST THAT FREE BATTLEPASS!
@@DonRysPo all content earned before June 25th, 2023, will carry over, including unused Gleamium, battle pass tokens, character tickets, and any other in game cosmetics
Also ALL returning players (who log in before June 11th) will receive the premium season 1 battle pass for free on launch, along with a free special Finn skin, and a special ringout and announcer pack
Also a new currency, prestige currency (which is earnt from cosmetics you buy, and used for buying rare cosmetics) will also be rewarding you for cosmetics you earnt in beta.
The only thing you’re losing is Gold, as it is being removed, however you’ll be getting exclusive cosmetics correlating to the amount of gold you had, these are cosmetics that you cannot get anywhere else.
You will be getting a lot of stuff as a returning player
@@aawakeDepends on the grind. In the beta they made leveling up the battlepass harder each update.
You can earn enough Gleamium in the pass to get the next one, but the question is if that's possible without having to play for hours and hours every single day for 2 months straight.
But we'll see.
TO ANYONE SEEING THIS, it's been confirmed on a blog post that Jason will still be available after the season ends, you just have to spend "character tokens" to get him (character tokens being one of the new in game currencies).
Character tokens were how you unlocked characters in the beta too
@@DrGandW Then I might be wrong about the name since there is definitely a new free currency. I just can't be bothered to remember rn lol.

People who got character tokens in the beta, get to keep their tokens.
The character tokens currency is not obtainable anymore.
Instead you unlock characters with gleemium

Something I just realized, we have 2 movie serial killers in this game. What I mean is, seeing's how Roger L. Jackson's back to voice Mojo Jojo, and his first ever voice acting role is voicing Ghostface from the Scream movies, he's now in this game with Jason Voorhees.

Honestly I couldn't stop playing it so It'll be fun to hop on again after the many improvements they've made, really fun game

Playing this game now and imo the threat to killing this game is the grind for characters, since we don’t have gold currency which we earned from winning games and playing games, it’s so hard to get a character, the character currency you don’t even get from playing online and you get 10 from rifts imo it’s worse

They stated that every skin and stuff that are in battle passes and limited-time stuff will eventually come back in the shop every now and again so there's always a chance to get something you couldn't earlier
The thing that kept me from getting too into the original release was just how damn much I would have had to play to earn anything. As much fun as it was, I was in no mood to play more than I felt like playing, so I think I got an entire *one* character unlocked. Hope it's less grindy on the second try, but I seriously doubt it will be.

I can’t state how excited I am to see Mojo-Jojo return. I actually think he’s even better as a stage hazard than a playable character. I just wish we could see him better!

I have only ever had 3 disconnects (and I think they were all rage quits) and the net code is actually insane. 99% of the time it feels like you're playing the single player and it feels incredible. This maybe aided by the game being overall slower with more hit lag, more charging, longer start up, etc then Smash or Brawlhalla but that doesn't change the fact that the net code is still better then both of those games

Isn't the thing with battle passes that the rewards are supposed to be exclusive though? Aside from the character
They could do something like Crash Team Racing, where if you missed the battle pass the rewards would be available in the store rotation after a couple months

I got a dumb question when you do the rifts. With the cannon, how the hell you use the cannon??? It's not showing anyway to get into the cannon. Am I the only one here or?
My one worry is if once the season is over and the new characters in the battle pass like Jason voorches are gone we won’t be able to play as them that would be a real kick in the Di- shoe horn thus needing CONSTANTLY grind till I get those characters or wait will I just get them in the store after the season is over ether way this game is epic
After the battlepass is over, they become buy-able with in-game currency

I don’t know all the details but it will be a mix of getting as much of the content you bought plus some gifts to make up any losses.
So even tho character tokens are gone, u get to keep all ur tokens and still buy characters with them that’s really the main thing
