Great store seems like a great family runned one as well i wish was here and could support...so much selection and fish look like there kept well....African Scat looks awesome...wish there was a pair for OFR but one is cool too

I'm kinda surprised you guys would recommend this shop since they're selling monster fish that the vast majority of people aren't prepared or equipped to handle at full size.
My issue isn't with stores selling monster fish, you've got that all wrong.
My issue is with stores selling pacu and not educating the public on the fish they buy. If you ask jay how big a redtail gets he will 100% tell you it's not for your 75gal. I support the stores I support because they are good people and a benefit to society. Passionate and love the hobby. Not in it for greed
This shop educates customers and is honest about how big the fish they are interested in will become. There are people who have monster tanks and ponds/pools at home who have homes big enough for these fish. Other stores out there will flat out lie about how big a fish will grow just to make a sale. J4 is an honest store.
Quite frankly people in hobby dint know about how big this fishes got eventually but now i see a very different scene in hobby,hobbist are actually starting to realise this and getting bigger tanks and portable pool ponds from walmart thanks to all the youtubers and their efforts..It is still a long way to go but thinks are looking positive!!!
🤔What happened to Ohio Fish Rescue not supporting shops the sell Red Tailed Catfish and Pacu’s. They also groom flowerhorns to be aggressive. How is that not animal cruelty.

As far as grooming, it's not to make them "aggressive". It's to grow their kok and produce better colors. If a male flower horn sees its reflection or another fish it'll assert its dominance. Purely aesthetic. Just like peacock bass and most cichlids if 2 males are in a tank one will be alpha and grow a huge hump on his head. This is a way of doing so without hurting another fish.
I can rehome 20 redtails fairly easy, 20 pacu will take me a very long time. My hardest fish to rehome.
