I really feel that to make up for his healing factor, there should be a "moral" system. Since wolverine wouldn't just die to any goons, there still should be a way to lose. Such as not being able to save civilians in time, and managing collateral damage.
I think Wolverine should also have a combat system where you can fight without claws and he busts out martial arts moves but extremely brutal. Martial arts in the history of Wolverine is essential because a hardcore Wolverine fan knows he is a master of many martial arts forms, a ninja and a samurai.
If there’s any mutant that has a chance of appearing imo, it’s Dazzler. She’s been hinted at heavily in the Spider-Man games and I can totally see her making an appearance (maybe as a cameo or club owner). I’m glad you’re finally covering Wolverine. I hope we get an official update on the game soon. It’s been almost 4 years since it was announced.
A open world wolverine game does not make sense for the character yall gotta stop with that trend the game has to be either open linear or just linear in general imo
I’d love to know what villains or potential factions you’d like to appear in this game. Someone made a video a while back breaking down the Easter eggs in the Wolverine trailer and he talked about the yakuza and criminals using a drug called lightning that gave them superpowers. Also, the Trask tease in Spider-Man 2 (when we’re looking for Scorpion) makes me think he could be a major antagonist in this game as well.

Your tip on the healing would work they have it for logan and sabertooth in MUA. Wolverine regens alot quicker aswell
