^^Your first stop before Baja^^
Toyota World Runners vs. The Pan American Highway.
This is the finale to our Baja Overland Series. We unraveled and reveal some of Baja California Sur's most acclaimed scenic treasures, and find peace, solitude, and connected in being out here. We're travelling in our custom Toyota Chinook, build in 100 days by TWR & Westcan Overland. The 1976 Toyota Chinook sits atop a 1996 FZJ80 Land Cruiser chassis, and powered by a Toyota 5VZ-fe. Could not agree more
They will get there for sure 😉
Stacy’s ear to ear smile in the gorge!!! I really enjoy seeing people that happy, it’s infectious!
We are a couple of mid 70’s and have been watching many Overlanding videos and subscribed to many. We stumbled upon your videos and have to say, out of ALL that we watch you two have the very best Overlanding series! The places you go and the way you share your adventures are the best. Can’t wait to watch your next adventure! Stay safe and travel on!
Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. We appreciate your words 🙏🏼 thank you for being here with us
Looking back to my youth (1980's) I did the same thing down in Baja with my then stocked Toyota 4×4 truck with 31×10's nothing special just explore and have fun. This is what it's all about! 👋
You definitely don't need a crazy rig to do this type of travel, the Mexican's prove that every single day down here!
By far the best channel on UA-cam. Y'all are awesome. Sending good vibes from coastal Georgia USA
Thank you so much!
I don't like heights , not even roller coasters , watching you navigate those roads leave me nervous. You two are unbelievably awesome. Sorry to lost your favourite beverage. Stay safe , stay healthy.
Thank you for watching!
Every Toyota is built to last forever!
Hello!
We never said anything before…
But we love you guys and watch your videos every time…
We just got a 77 nook inspired by you guys…
God bless…
Thank you for commenting! Glad we could be part of the inspiration :D
You two are really doing it, your trip has been amazing so far. Thank you for bringing us along
Thank you for being here! It's been incredible, and only just getting started!
I love watching the Chinook off-road
Love everyone of your videos you two are having an adventure that most of us can only dream about and thank you for sharing!🍻
Glad we can share it, and for it to be thoroughly enjoyed means the world to us.
When I first started watching your channel, I was certain that BC was the singular, magical location for an offroad production and could see no reason for you ever to leave. Well, now here you are in Baja. In a timeless land in a couple of timeless Toyotas rolling over the prehistoric rocks as if they have been there waiting on you all along.
A modern vehicle would have looked like a garish intruder that did not deserve to be there, but the old Toyotas have put in their time and were right at home.
The French Press Incident (As it shall be forever known), was a sign that the land telling you that it was ok to leave. The child-like wonder on your faces as you travelled through to canyon of oases (I had to look up the plural of oasis) told us viewers everything that could be said about that location.
If my only reason to wish for your continued success on these travels was my own selfish joy of watching these videos, I'm sure I could live with that, but I truly believe that you guys were meant to be here and to be doing what you're doing. As a much older person that spent my youth on the road, I promise you that these memories that you are making will last a lifetime.
Phil you just be, or have been a writer in a past life.
The FPI was the sign we needed indeed.
Thank you as always Phil, for your comments and for believing in us. We feel very aligned, and driven by purpose these days. It's hard to ask for much more than that.
Great video as always, friends! Love to see you guys reliving some of the places we were just months prior! Stoked for the next one! ♥♥♥♥
¡Es genial tener amigos que entienden la vida de los viajes!
A Big grin while watching your travels Have fun and be safe !
Thank you for watching!
My highlight of the week is watching you living a dream of life.
Heck yes! Thank you so much for being here!
What a beautiful discovery in the slot canyon
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Living vicariously! Thanks!
Nice truck. My dad used to have one back in Guatemala 1979 toyota pick up manual transmission great truck.
Another great video from Baja Peninsula. Keep up the good work.
That build is sick! Now I’m gonna look into building one!
Look like this was some pretty gnarly trail. That RV just ate those rocks up.
This is awesome man, loved the video!
I hope you folks are planning on returning home, to Nanaimo someday. We miss you.
We absolutely are!!
How you only have 35k subs is beyond me. Keep it coming!
Thank you!!
I daily drive a 86toyota 4*420r hybrid I love this truck. it loves to be hotboxes and I love blowing smoke into the air filter happy 420
Hi Matt, on your heating issue, the 3.4l v6 thermostat should be clocked at the 6 o'clock position and not the 12 o'clock position. The engine will run about 10 to 15 degrees warmer in the 12 position. Next time you do a service on the cooling system check it out. I can vouch for that. My Taco had always run at the 196 - 200 degrees and one hot day it started to creep to 210 - 215 degrees. I changed out the thermostat and it was at 12. I switched it out and put it to 6 and it runs around 184 - 186 degrees consistently.
Just a thought.
Keep up the good work and video's, I really enjoy them.
Hey there. We did this this on our last USA video. I suspected the thermostat was installed incorrectly, and turns out it was. I corrected it to the 6 o'clock orientation and it dropped the temps by about 8 degrees across the board. Once the outside temps got near 100*F it was clear we needed more though. Happy to report the new fan clutch has made the difference up in spades.
@@ToyotaWorldRunners
Good to hear, I must have missed that part. Glad to hear the fan clutch is doing the trick keeping the engine cool. Be safe and keep the videos coming.
Awesome rig you built, so cool, yota's are incredible.
thanks for posting outstanding adventure.
Thank you so much!
Another fantastic video!! You guys are living the life!!
Thanks Greg!
Ooof I felt that dropped French press in my soul.. Absolutely stunning leg of the journey! What a awesome trip!
It was a crushing moment... Luckily the good outweighs the bad 😆
OMG, this is paradise. I would have a sun tan where I never had sun tan. I'll be drinking some piña coladas. Living life the way it should be lived.❤
Duudeeeee!! What an amazing film that was! Brought tons emotion and truly it is just an inspiring peace of art! My girl and I are doing the same thing as we speak in my built 5th gen runner and I can truly appreciate watching you do the same thing in a different direction. Rock on to the both of you brother and wish you guys both the most bad ass life, relationship, and bond!
Another stunning, amazing, phenomenal video!!! Thank you for sharing!! Looking forward to the next episode!!
Thank you for watching!!
I just saw you yesterday when you helped get out the small civic from the mogote sand, I was watching your truck and talking about it with another dude that was there, its freaking cool man, hope you are enjoying La Paz ✌🏽
Haha spotted! We love a good recovery!
Astounding!! I can't tell what my favorite part is as it's all perfect. The 60 series in action warmed my heart.

Best video yet!
Thank you!!
This is y 'all's best video all the way around! You have everything; Ups/Downs, Funny, romantic, scenery, remote, friends, TACO's, etc..... This is what people dream of and you two are bringing it to life, thank you.
Thank you so much, we appreciate it!
Greetings from the still chilly south Okanagan where the apricots and balsam root have finally started to bloom. Thanks for another view of the Baja vistas, it's vivid on a big screen. Kudos for piloting the rig all the way down the skinny road too, huzzah! Safe travels to you all.
We could use some fresh Okanagan fruit! The tropical fruit is a nice change though. Stacey is a confident pilot :D
Amazing, I love this, best video so far
This one is spectacular❤❤❤
That slot canyon is super fun, worth mentioning that line choice is also very important when talking about the off road capabilities of a vehicle. I made it there with a two wheel drive Volkswagen vanagon, my brother made it in a low clearance Subaru and someone else made it in a two wheel drive cargo van. Driving on rocks for cool shots is cool but when traveling far from home and repair services it is at most important to not mess around risking unnecessary damage. Sick rig and keep it up but my two cents is vehicle conservation.
Wow great video guys !
Did either of you go to film school , your vids just get better and better.
Nope! Self taught!
Thank you for the compliment!
Truly inspiring
Thank you so much to you both for showing this amazing overlanding in this beautiful landcapes around. Great video 👏🙌 Greetings from Norway.

Cheers! 🍻
Spectacular!
Man, those tuna poke bowls 😮😮
Thats an awesome pic of the rv in the thumbnail!
Thank you!
Baja and baja sur❤
FOMO activated! I wish I could teleport myself and the old diesel trooper for a few days with you guys. You both look so inspired, and it's showing in every video, keep um coming!! P.S. Don't forget those waterways a subject to incredibly surprising flash floods, not like what we are used to in BC, and that also applies to everything south of the Tropic of Cancer.
Good note about the flooding... And hey! We're only every ~5000-20,000 kms away. Or fly down and meet us in Venezuela!
Awesome camper! I want one, any yes old trucks rule, if Toyota or anyone else made something close to this it would probably cost $250,000. Canadian easily..
Thanks for another wonderful adventure you guy's. It was so nice of you two to introduce Toccos to Mexico. I am pretty sure they'll appreciate the kind gesture. 😂
I think they will appreciate it immensely! Thanks for watching!
Très belle vidéo merci
Several Wallpaper moments in this one. So Rad, maybe offer Prints online of some locations? Just an idea:)
We like your idea a lot! Thank you!
How much did this camper build cost you? I love it!
Dropping a comment to boost the algorithm lol first video I've seen from this channel and it's so sick.
We appreciate it! Cheers!
@@ToyotaWorldRunners After watching a bunch of videos I have a recommendation; if I may. You should consider making playlists separating the types of videos. It would make it easier to find specific videos from you guys. Like yalls build videos for the trucks. Or y'all's tips and tricks etc. It also helps those who binge watch videos. It's a small demographic that does that, but they make up for it by watching 3+ videos at a time. It'll also help you sort out videos whenever you want to share one with someone. Another thing, playlists don't stop until all videos are played. So if someone walks away or falls asleep or whatever you can essentially farm views.
@@mup8661 Thanks for the comment! What device are you watching from? We have tons of playlists already set up for different series such as the build content. We’re not sure how you’re missing them? Are you on our home page? Let us know! We appreciate the feedback.
@@ToyotaWorldRunners I was out in the mountains of SoCal watching on my phone and I think it wasn't loading the playlists because I didn't have a good enough connection. When I closed watching a video it loaded them later that night😂 appreciate the effort brotha.
Very nice
Oh yeah
These baja videos are really amping me up for our trip down there next winter! Would absolutely love to know where that beach is at, if you're willing to share. We're from BC, and drive an old truck so it'll be in good hands! Also curious about what Sunday's height with the top down, and weight is. We got a camper for our old rig and would be interested to know how it's height and weight compares, seeing what you take that thing through.
Haven't pulled out the tape measure, but I remember confirming that we fit inside a regular 20ft container, which is 2.23M height. Weight fully loaded is right around 6500lbs. You will have an amazing time in Baja wherever you go!
@@ToyotaWorldRunners oh that’s not tall at all! Surprised. Hahah yeah yeah, new mission is to figure out where that beach is. Thanks
@@ToyotaWorldRunners I’m pushing 12,000 lbs lol
BOOYAH
This is Agua Verde?
WEOOOOOO
What beach was that?
Where did you get your sunglasses, Matt
Heatwave!
Thanks bro!
Another epic adventure! Very entertaining. Thanks.
LOVE THIS SHIT
I gotta start watching this channel more…algo’s are messed up
Haha yes!
This video is a little cheeky…..just sayin. Thanks for sharing.
T minus 14 days until I start my Baja Odyssey. It's killing' me.

Second
Don’t cry (too much) over spilt coffee. 😢
There may have been a few tears
When you say for more behind the scenes do u mean like onlyfans content?
First
OVERLAND is a marketing word stolen from the Aussies , it’s just another way to say “off road” it means nothing more but millions fall for it 😂
Travelling over land has been a part of human history. The Penn Overland story documents a group of guys driving the Silk Road in the 50s in full size busses. Overland trips have been around since the wheel, or horse. The word has evolved into a verb in the last decade, and it does have a lot of marketing behind it. Especially for what is camping and a road trip.
