I prefer the cut & color palate on the 2013, but the elephant print is so much better on the reimagined.

REIMAGINED looks and feels better in any aspect period, i also have the 2013 and yep 2023 version is sooo much better im glad i have both for comparison

This is my absolute favorite of Air Jordan sneaker of all time! But, I am supremely disappointed with the yellowed out midsole.
I am pretty sure when the 88’s were originally released. The midsole was pure white as opposed to this piss colored disaster.
You can’t design a shoe based on a vintage shoe that has become yellowed out over time. This is 100% inaccurate!
If anything…it further exposes how cheap Nike is when it comes to selecting long lasting durable materials for their Jordans, overall.
I will never ever buy anymore sneakers from Nike ever again because of this ridiculous idea!

I don't like the reimagined at all. Why do people want something that's fake-aged? If people actually wore their shoes, instead of pretending they're some great investment, the aging would come naturally, which looks *far* better.

The White Cement is much cleaner and more neutral to wear for formal events, even though for some it's boring compared to the other OG colorways

1988 when this shoe dropped it came in cocaine white, i remembered clear as day, Jordan Brand never stay true to any OG shoe they create, either the leather or something is slightly off
I’m so pissed off about this yellowed out midsole idea. I waited so Dan long to get a new pair of old sneakers. Now, I have to wait five more years for the next one which who knows how that will look

That was a good video...I was going to pass on those Reimagined 3's, but that toe shape is too good. I hope they do the black and cement at some point with that exact shape.

After seeing and wearing these 2023 white cements, all the older retros just look like bad fakes now.
I always find interesting the videos with differences between two models from different years.
Just give us a true retro. Like this means we’re gonna have to wait years to get another white cement 3 like the 88.

Reimagined is pretty much perfection. The cut, the materials, the shape, the padding ... the only thing they could have done better was the yellowing. That could have been left off, but I like it. Other than that ... perfection to me.

I’m definitely going for these but the OG is more classically clean. The Reimagined’s are more trendy but I def prefer timeless. I don’t mind when shoes age naturally but not a huge fan of new “yellowing”
Agreed if they were white with the materials used these would’ve been perfect the natural/organic color would’ve came on it’s own with wears, I hate JB trying to be so trendy basically skipping real shoe lovers break in process.

@@OP8Z416I have the privilege to own and wear the OG 88s and these re imagined are spot on to the OGs the yellowing didn’t ruin them you just can’t appreciate what the OGs really looked like. Maybe they’ll grow on you in the future?

My preference of releases for the White Cements: 1988 > 1994 > 2003 > 2023 > FTL > 2013 > JTH > 2011
Taking the 2003 version with the Jumpman on the heel tab over this version is beyond stupidity

I like my shoes to age on their own, I love when I break my kicks in and when they gain character I like the reimagined concept and materials used just wished they were white instead of the sail/off white the aging would happen organically anyways wonder how the reimagined will age knowing they already skipped us to the colors smh and we agreed about the colors being better on 13’ the grey on the 23’ is so dull. Still a cop for me hopefully I can catch for retail and trade for a DS 2013 pair!

Just because they painted then yellow doesn’t mean they are old already they are still new and will age well. I’ve got to wear the Og 88s as a teenager and these are spot on to the Ogs 1988s I had as a kid and get this my mom had them a month before the even dropped in the stores she bought 2 pairs one for my dad and one for me size 6 1/2

@@is2fiftyslowfsport744 I’ve seen these in broad daylight, you don’t really see the aging on the midsole unless you absolutely stare at them on someone’s foot. They didn’t go too heavy on the aging on this pair that most people think

Im a true size 8 but just recently tried on a size 8.5 black cement 3 pair and it fit me just right. Do 3’s naturally run a bit smaller than lets say air Jordan 1 models? Just wanted to know before i commit to one size when trying to get them when they release soon
Black cement 3 ran a bit more snug. These are more true to size.

Not absolutely happy about the vintage colouring but im still pleased to finally be getting a pair of white cement 3s. Didnt like the icy sole on the 2017 pair and the 2013 pair resembles a steel toe safety boot.

Clean them after every other use
You can still be able to wear them even as a decade old, the only problem would just be the cracking on the paint, crumbling only starts after 12-15 years.
