You said it in Step 1. People want to know who they will become by adopting your brand, marketers that get that part right get the best results. Thanks for the vid, enlightening!
Jay i’m continually astounded by how you’re going about this channel. It kinda feels like you’re building a fanbase of 80% diehard fans - and I’m one of them. Keep it up
I’ve been reading on charismatic leaders and from what I gathered being charismatic is an attitude that is equal parts being competent and being warm. it’s a function of attitude. The examples you’ve shown are people who have a “presence” of seeming unselfish by acting as if they care for others. And in my opinion it seems like an act more than anything. 2:39
@@thejayalto What I loved in Billie Eilish's first doco was the difference between her personal (relatable) success and career (aspirational) success. The Grammys won, that's career, cool, great. But what was really pivotal, was meeting and becoming friends with Bieber. A person she and many others of the era fantasised at a key childhood/developmental stage. Hence, this came across as meaning far more to her personally, then just the accolades.
bro i looooove your videos. You are really becoming a cult leader for me slowly the fact that no one talks what you talk on this channel is making me attracted to you and i feel like you dont speak just what should be spoken, you speak what you really want to tell
Great advice. I have a slowly building community and they are amazing. "Super Fans" as Pat Flynn might call them. I let them know how much I appreciate them and they are the ones I try my best to create for.
This was incredible well articulated. It very much is brick by brick. People often try to skip steps along the way which usually end up biting them in the A$$ when they realise. It's a marathon up a mountain. Not a sprit up to a small hill top.
Love the idea of UA-cam world building! Figuring out how the different aspects of what I want to share connect together has been a huge challenge. Art on one side...tech/software development on the other. Still wrestling with bringing the topics under the same channel.
What type of art? I've made software to create photo based art before. Definitely a number of ways art and tech can overlap, especially with the rise in 3d printing, laser cutters, etc.
@@chris_sparrows I've been investigating game art, so that's one avenue that's fairly easy to mix. But I'm also into fine art as a hobby (pen-n-ink, watercolor) which is a bit hard to mix in and have a "cohesive brand". But maybe I just go with it and be the software guy that likes to share some tips-n-tricks about programming and some of my doodles that i'm working on. Kinda just want to create stuff and share my journey and knowledge.
@@MichaelMaitlen That sounds fun! It can be hard though if there's too much variety audience doesn't know what to expect, but I bet you could find some ways to crossover those worlds.
omg i just realized I watched and subbed to you without knowing who you were really but then I was listening to "Created" with Jon and realized I watched you already! Your channel will take off in no time I just know it dude! keep up the good work!
Your videos speak to and resonate with my introverted personality. I like the idea of earning 1,000 true loyal fans. It seems so much more likely than some arbitrary metric of raw views and subscribers. Although they are important and can be an indicator, they aren't the true measure.
While factors like confidence, good communication skills, empathy, and a positive attitude contribute to charisma, authenticity serves as the foundation that ties these qualities together in a compelling and genuine way.💯💯👏🏼👏🏼
I'm a charismatic ...eater. Just as well, my videos aren't anything worth watching anyway. But this dinner I have here....now that is a LIKE button if ever there was one.
@@thejayalto the irony....Your comment arrived and I had not eaten....yet I am about to upload another disasterpiece. I should of not been editing...and gone for lunch instead. Have a super week!
It's what makes it worse really - I was a big fan during that first year but haven't watched an Airrack video in years (too long to explain in the video etc)
Become a leader building a movement. - Russell Brunson I've had some thoughts about cults recently, and I think there are some things I can add to this based upon my own experience. Thank you for the topic idea!
He’s got a pretty die hard fan base because they’re all hoping that he just flings a lot of money randomly. I don’t think they care for him, they just want a chance to win money. They’ve associated him with the lottery 1:38
love the video but you should think about adding some sound design into your stuff, you have a great flow and great process of breaking down your concepts in your videos but sound design and music would elevate it to the next level
Wise words. Trying to please everyone/avoid criticism from anyone and everyone is the fastest way to pleasing nobody.
Well said

This is some really good advice. Hands down.
Thank you, Aaron!

You're doing it the right way then sir
What you’ve said about the ‘charismatic leader’ I haven’t seen anywhere else-thanks for sharing!

Insightful thoughts and ideas
Huh, I hadn't thought of Mr Beast that way. I think you're right. Charisma can have this other definition.
It certainly can

Love the video, just lost me a bit at the end with Airrack. Dude has been called out a bunch for faking stuff

Superfans by Pat Flynn is a great book if anyone wants to further learn more about building a diehard fanbase.

Jay, do you work for mrbeast?
I don't
Jay you look the part for a cult leader
Make a video: How to start your own religion.
This is stuff nobody fucking tells you. about point 4, is it being as raw as possible to create a familiar ground between yourself and your audience?

Maybe maybe - trying to keep them as natural as possible but definitely understand what you're saying
