This movie provides a lot of insight abt living in the inner city the daily struggles associated with living in that urban environment. Being from a reservation in the Oklahoma panhandle my experiences are both similar and dissimilar to the scenes depicted in the film. Inner city life has always fascinated me but i would never romanticize the common struggle for survival.
Lil mama saying "shoot HIM IMANI" while tryna fight, 1:29:45 This movie changed my life always loved lil mama she took acting to another high stream and just recently met her at a Juneteenth festival and told her thank you it was such a blessing to meet my idol❤🙏🏾

The hood loves nobody but money
I’m baffed at the ending. At 1:25:22, Tia tells Keema that Peppy played her and took her money. At the end however, she still cool with him, and apparently he teams up with Lance to buy her a spa? Doesn’t make sense to me. ALBEIT, THIS FILM WAS DOPE IN EVERY WAY. Love to all those involved in the production of the film. Keep doing your thing.
