Custom-designed by SPC in collaboration with The International Printing Museum, these special Stoughton Old Style® tip-on gatefold jacket showguides were created to commemorate the museum’s 8th Annual L.A. Printers Fair and exhibit “The Music of the Presses: The Vinyl Record Jackets of the Stoughton Printing Company” opening Oct.1, 2016 in Carson, California. In this short music video, watch the entire process of making the lithographically printed, hand-tipped jackets at Stoughton Printing, starting from the initial concept/design to prepress, plating, offset printing and fabrication.
