    Guitarists who improvise never have to remember exactly how the tune goes. They can pick it up and figure it out again - even if they haven't played in years. Someone who learns note by note struggles BIG TIME to do that. Sounds very similar to randomised BJJ learning - where any situation can be thrown at the fighter, as would the guitarist who's ready to improvise to any tune that's thrown at him. For instance SLASH - he can hardly read music, but man, he can jam and make up the sweetest solos you've ever heard!

    Any chance of getting a example of your memorising technique? I understand the concept like the very good example you showed with the word, but how do you do it with bjj? Thanks for the video!

      Kit Dale Really great stuff Kit... I think you have a really progressive approach on this- which I find is very valuable, useful and remarkable when you compare it with the standard-ways to go in jj.
      I also love how you put the scientific, cognitive side of it together with the (psychomotoric-) learning jj. Well done and I'm curious about your product...

      1) There are alternate spellings for memorise - British vs. American. Kit is correct in his use of 'memorise'.
      2) Spelt primarily refers to the hardy wheat grown mostly in Europe. 'Spelled' is typically the more preferred past tense used in this type of context.
      3) At very least you should have checked points 1) & 2) before leaving your comment. You're on the internet, you have access to Google. Don't be so lazy.
      4) The use of 'buddy' here makes you sound like a condescending asshole, made worse by you criticising (alternate spelling here too) someone's spelling and grammar with incorrect spelling and grammar. Well done.
      5) Full stop at the end of a sentence, if we're being picky.

    • @BobbyJoe305
      @BobbyJoe305 9 років тому

      You can use spelt or spelled buddy. A simple google could of told you the answer. Don't be so lazy

    • @bulletinthewind
      @bulletinthewind 9 років тому

      Shaolin Glory Ooooh...this is embarrassing. You've done it again! Nearly 2 weeks sitting there behind your little keyboard, stewing away on a response, and you completely fucked it! Not even the hard stuff. You let your little ego get in the way of a learning opportunity and you chose to go out in a blaze of flaming ignorance. Let's go ahead and put you out of your misery, dumb dumb. New list...yay!!
      1) Go back to point 2) nipple head. See the word 'preferred' in there? Yup. The inference being that both are acceptable, however one more than the other. In this instance, 'spelled'. The keyword here is 'inference'. Look it up. It will help you to not look like such a spaz in the future.
      2) Where do you think I sourced the information to qualify point 2)? Hmmm...Google perhaps? (Try and keep up).
      3)This is tragic,"could of" REALLY!!?? That's two in a row, you FUCKING PEANUT!! Not "could of". COULD HAVE. AND I DID. BAM!!
      4) Don't be so lazy? Like, say, leaving the full stop off the end of a sentence that you just butchered while trying to burn someone on their correct use of spelling and grammar, by using incorrect spelling and grammar...AGAIN!! You fucking idiot!!
      5) Go back and read point 4) in my previous comment about going full buddy. The only thing you have achieved consistently is demonstrating what a fucking dumb cunt you are.
      You suck.
      Love you xx

      bulletinthewind Yeah, I really took my time thinking of what to right. That's why I wrote 3 sentences and you wasted you time to think of 50. Get a life buddy. And I didn't take the time to read your little story.
