Drop some water into the Kuritake paints and let it sit for a minute before use, and they come out bold and opaque, and show up really well on black paper or ink. They're lovely.
If you really work the brush in the paint until it becomes saturated, you can get a really bold colour from all of the golds.

Thank you! I'll have to try it on dark paper. I got them to work on white paper after playing with them for a bit. :)
Which kit do you normally like better, Sketchbox or ArtSnacks?
I tend to use the supplies in ArtSnacks more but they are both excellent.
