The Lunt Solar is my choice, too. Thanks for the video demonstration.
You have answered the question i had for all of today. If med king glasses were safe and for that i thank you
Thanks, very helpful.
Thank you!
Thanks for this review! I've doing my own research and was getting nowhere. I decided on the Lunt. They are approved on the American Astronomical Society’s list of manufacturers and they are also made in Germany.
Good choice! I was honestly super surprised how different they all were. I thought they would be more or less the same. The Lunt are fantastic.
People will refer back to this video in 80 or so years.
i was trying to decide between lunt and medical king. the lunt cost more.
I bought mines from Amazon should I trust it
I think the lense film degrades over time which may have caused the glasses you used for the last eclipse to not look so clear now, years later. Thanks for your review!
Yes they do.
It is not encouraged to look through solar glasses that are older than 3 years, because the protection will not be appropriate.
@@Poodleinacan That used to be the case from older eclipse glasses, but that warning is now obsolete, as was the warning about not looking directly at the sun for more than 3 mins at a time while wearing them. The newer glasses (post-2015) do not degrade over time, and you can stare at the sun through them for as long as you wish.
@@rosalindshays5679 thanx
According to the euro model it's supposed to rain in the whole path of the eclipse.
question: i bought the lunt glasses through your link, the spanish ones. i can clearly see lighbulbs and a little light through lampshades with them. do all eclipse glasses do that? i dont want to use a compromised pair on the sun lol
Same
Probably damaged or faulty
Sad that Lunt doesn’t sell to Canada, the only one available on Amazon was soluna
Oh, that is a bummer. Well, like I mentioned in the video, I used Soluna for the last eclipse and was happy with it... I just didn't realize there were better options out there.
i got the ones from Medical King. Works fine for me! but yeah Lunt seems the best by a mile :(
I have medical king glasses
Is soluna safe?
All of the glasses I reviewed are safe.
Don't use glasses older than 3 years. They expire...
glasses made after 2015 do not expire.
