Even if it’s on it I’ll work to keep the temp at the set level -The official remote start from bmw is retrofit number 64 50 2 408 984 I was quoted 800 for part and labor rates for 1.5 hours I totally agree about the brakes I’ve been looking into the m performance brake upgrade
I’m from Boston where it’s 80 degrees at 11am, it rains it a bit and it drops to 60, it dries up and goes back up to 80. By 6pm it’s back down. So the weather here is very unpredictable lol. I’ma call the BMW dealership to see what they can do for me in regards to the remote start. But If ima spend $800 I’ll pay a little more and get the viper set up with smart start so I can control everything through my phone.
Regarding brake, you have the basic BMW X5 package with m badging but not the M sport. That one has aggressive frontal & large breaks cos it has more power. These brakes are more than enough for the output of your car that’s why it’s there , however, you can purchase a calliper cover , those big ones and put it on it ..
Hey Bubu, Did you have to add weights to you wheels. @ 9:17, there are some silver things showing on the wheels. Are those weights to balance the wheel?
Hello, I’m not sure if you are aware but Every wheel on every car needs to be balanced. They all have weights. Some wheels they put the weights on the outer edge, other wheels they put the weights on the inside. So yes, the silver things are weights to balance the wheel.
@@Bubu617 Yeah I didn't know that. I saw wheels just like yours in multiple places. One review said that a lot of weights were needed. Weighing on getting them from somewhere else. How do you like the ride after all this time?
@@kevoncox not a rougher ride, the best way I can describe it is, a “heavier ride”. it feels heavier at first. But once you get used to it, you can’t tell the difference

I’m guessing by “things” you mean the brakes. And they could have done a better job putting a nicer set up. Does not have the be the performance big brakes, but still make them look nice. They literally slapped some generic calipers on it

I do have an M Sport. I believe you are referring to an X5M
@@Bubu617 oh yes !!! ✔️
how do you solve the #4? what sort of coding required?
I am actually living in munich beside the HQ of BMW, just wondering what is the purpose of remote starting your car? Can someone explain?
Hey Bubu,

I got mine coded to where the ac/heat doesn’t turn on automatically

You need to get one of the latest G05 X5's. All your complaints would be taken care of.
Yea
Haw did you fix the talegate please
I Haven’t looked into it yet
You could get the M large brakes for about $3000
I have the base brakes on my 35i M sport and i think the performance is pretty good
Bubu what subs do you have on the rear?
Video coming soon of that. Stay tuned 🙏🏻
I found a way that the a/c won’t start its to crack your windows or just open them and it won’t start!
I got it coded. So it doesn’t do it anymore lol
you can fix talegate, had same problem on my 2016 x5, with all downsides it has i think its best car in the world
What did you do to fix the tailgate?

Absolutely 💯
M package was made just for looks not to actually be the M if u wanted those things you should’ve got a real M instead of a “M Package” 🤔
