@steelgoodwin Nah, sometimes you gotta know your weaknesses and rely on your team. I'm sure one day Simon will completely overcome his vulnerability to holes, but it's okay today is not that day.
Check the chunk reset setting. It looks like the chunk around your claim block was reset., and took away everything on the ground around the chunk. That's the only possibility I can think of. Never seen that happen before myself, and I've played it a lot. I even have mods, and never had it happen. Edit - I never expected how much Simon would have Appsro's back on this episode. Tip for walking over spikes. Place building blocks on them so you can walk without damage. You can pick them up after when you're trying to get across a pit that you want the spikes to remain in. That one's for you, Neebs.
Love how Simon starts off with some "can do" energy! Simon, I remember when you couldn't figure out how to change your hotbar, none the less keep yourself fed. Now, you're out there running extra trader missions to keep your boy APPSRO fed in his time of need. Well done sir! (Italian hand)
As soon as that last scene came up and you saw Neebs look that that jump you just knew he was gonna fall in there and die. Lol. Very proud of Simon. He's steam rolling this game like a champ lately.
Gives off the same energy as the Tex vs. Reds and Blues battle: Sarge (seeing his men be tossed around): Let me show you how it's done! (Gets punched across the room)
Simon leaving LEGENDARY crafting materials in the box "because I don't have room" when he has almost a full row of backpack open just tracks with what he is lol.
I used to be a vociferous Simon critic, but I see he's been solo practice playing 7 Days over on the Neebs Dumpster channel & he seems to have a different can do attitude & I never thought I'd see the day. His improvements have been exponential & it's refreshing to see. Meanwhile, Neebs seems like he's caught in a spiral of downward devolution.
SIMON being bad at gaming is the reason I watched half the time. No idea why anyone would watch these guys if they get frustrated they aren't pro gamers
Simeon’s been practicing in solo for quite a while he talked about it on neebscast way before the reveal of the dumpster channel. He’s been working on improving
Looks like a chunk reset... they can turn that off in settings so it doesn't happen again. It's not a glitch/bug... the land/claim-chunk reset timer goes by real world time, not in-game time... if they left it default and didn't change anything simply being away from that spot for X amount of real time will make the map chunk reset... so they take 2 weeks between recording anything unvisited on the map during that time resets.
Wow, never thought I'd see the day where Neebs is the one getting stuck in a hole while Simon is being more competent (though still screwing up a bit now and then since he's Simon). Wonder if we're going to see Neebs with a beggar's box trying to mooch gear off of everyone else now?
There are so many comments from people who have been watching Neebs Gaming for a very long time. Warms my heart. This made me check when I first subbed to Neebs. Apparently it was 2017. I'm speechless. It doesn't feel like it's been so long. To the crew at Neebs Gaming: Thank you. I can't believe I've spent almost a decade of my life watching you. Thank you so much for the laughs, the lessons, and the positivity. Even without all of that, you eternalized the memory of a great man. Thick... Tony... will NEVER be forgotten.
I think the issue with Dora's spike holes is that the zombies a.i. don't recognize the spikes as ground to walk on, but just recognize a deep hole and that's why they go around.
I think the problem is that his holes are two blocks deep instead of just one with spikes inside. I know the one-block-deep with an inlaid spike worked back in Alpha 19/20, but I haven't tested it on this current game build.
How is this happening, Simon is RAPIDLY getting better at all of the games they're playing, to the point he's getting more confident than the others! WE ARE SO FRIGGEN PROUD OF YOU SIMON!!! You've gone from not being able to get out of a single block deep hole in minecraft, to HELPING Appsro survive the horde! Simon the pro gamer!

Simon, legendary parts are rare so you should take it when you see one. It was that grey and pink box with the gear like symbol next to the biker outfit in the loot box.
Simon having over 500 rounds of 9mm ammo before the first hoarde without needing to set up a beggar's box is such a great storyline and literally as I wrote this comment he set himself on fire 2 seconds into the hoarde 😂 it's progress though
Hey guys! Just wanted to say you help me with really dark depression episodes and always make me laugh even when I want to drive into oncoming traffic. I love all of you very much
LMAO! SIMON TO THE RESCUE! What an absolute unit he's become! Great horde guys! Edit: Music was on point this episode. I mean its usually really good, but you folks really nailed it on this one.
That was a pretty solid base Doraleous it was *AMAZE-ING* . And Simon look at you brother, gathering food, supplies and being a badass all around that's character growth right there.

A glitch like that, when logging in? My group of friends would RIOT, until I spawned everything they had back into the world. Good on Appsro for deciding to rebuild, instead of whining. I'm sure it helps, that Simon was so willing and able to provide Appsro with aid, in his time of need. Major props to Simon.
I remember back in early access. There was an update bug where all the building blocks integrity was set to 0. Every building that was close enough to a player to spawn in started to collapse. It was horrible but amazing chaos.
As always. Another great episode of 7dtd. Just a thought... Can we come up with a "Three Little Pigs", adaptation of the game where the house of twigs gets so damaged that you move on to the house of bricks and then concrete and so on?
