You guys are so silly or so stupid. Josh A Guetzkow, the sociologists, wrote an open letter to the BMJ (British Medical Journal) asking why after two and a half years, we have not heard any results of the planned safety analyses, Pfizer mentioned they would do in their clinical trial protocol on the final upscaled product. This is why John Campbell had him on as a guest. And as Josh explains, the reason is simple, Pfizer chose to withdraw the study and not conduct the safety analyses. What went into your arm was never tested, not even on mice. Feel better now?

So nothing like any previous vaccine then. More like transfection in fact.
Transfection is the process of nonviral gene delivery into recipient cells. DNA, RNA, messenger RNA (mRNA), small interfering RNA (siRNA), microRNA (miRNA), and short hairpin RNA are examples of exogenous nucleic acid material (shRNA).
      Facts about Transfection
Transfection is the process of introducing foreign DNA
(DNA source: Plasmids, siRNA, mRNA or genomic DNA) into eukaryotic cells, often with the aim of expressing a specific protein or studying gene function.
The efficiency of transfection can vary greatly depending on the type of cell and the method used, with some methods achieving high levels of transfection efficiency, while others are less successful.
The most commonly used methods of transfection include calcium phosphate precipitation, electroporation, and lipofection, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
Lipofection, which uses lipid-based delivery systems, is one of the most widely used transfection methods because of its high efficiency and ease of use.
Another innovative method of transfection is viral transduction, which uses a viral vector to deliver foreign DNA into cells. This method is commonly used in gene therapy research.
Transfection has a wide range of applications, including the production of therapeutic proteins, the study of gene function, and the development of new vaccines and treatments for diseases.
Despite its numerous applications, transfection remains a challenging process, and there is ongoing research to develop more efficient and effective methods of delivery.
What are the Potential Risks of Transfection?
While transfection can be an effective tool for genetic research, it can also carry potential risks. One major concern is the potential toxicity of transfection reagents, which can damage or kill cells. In addition, introducing new genetic material into cells can alter their normal function, leading to unexpected consequences. It is important for researchers to carefully consider the risks of transfection and take steps to minimize them,
      microbiologynote.com/transfection-definition-types-principle-applications/
      www.biocompare.com/Bench-Tips/121111-Cellular-Toxicity-Caused-by-Transfection-Why-is-it-important/
      www.capricorn-scientific.com/mycoplasma
Furthermore, it is extremely important to use endotoxin-free plasmid DNA for gene therapy applications, since endotoxins cause fever, endotoxic shock syndrome, and activation of the complement cascade in animals and humans. Endotoxins also interfere with in vitro transfection into immune cells such as macrophages and B cells by causing nonspecific activation of immune responses. These responses include the induced synthesis of immune mediators such as IL-1 and prostaglandin. It is important to make sure that plasticware, media, sera, and plasmid DNA are free of LPS contamination to avoid misinterpretation of experimental results.
So let's have a look at what a complement cascade is.
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK551511/
Your messiah here is just placating the 'vaccinated' test subjects.
As they rot from the inside while blaming it on anything but the transfection.

Anyway, in aerospace manufacturing for example, a safety critical item will be tested as it is for approval. It's then not possible to change the manufacturing process without getting approval for the item with new testing.
Relatively new tech injectables that contain mRNA which is classed as a gene therapy product would of course need far more significant safety testing & changing the manufacturing process would be unacceptable without starting trials again from scratch.

I would argue that your analogy falls down because an aircraft does not consist of LRUs made by the same manufacturer and that those manufacturers are not the airframe manufacturer, e.g Boeing or Airbus Industries. Engines Pratt & Whitney or Rolls Royce, Radars TI, tyres Dunlop , depending on airline being supplied. The airworthiness is certified by the relevant authority in the country of manufacture with annual airworthiness certified by the relevant authority of the base country of the airline.
The quality assurance of individual LRUs are the responsibility of the manufacturers not the aircraft manufacturer.
Pharmaceutical companies are individual companies making a range of products based solely on themselves. Thus your analogy again falls down.

When there really is a change, of course a clinical trial is needed. However, it would be unethical to run a trial of the new, under test, product, against saline, like new drug trials are often done, Harm to some saline recipients is almost guaranteed.
So what the industry does is to use the already approved, existing, vaccine or remedy, as the placebo. So the new drug should do as well as or better than the placebo used, to succeed in phase 3 trials. This way harm to trial subjects is avoided. Or minimised.

If they use one method of production for the trials, and a different one for the roll out after those trials get approval, that is by definition a bait and switch. Whether it leads to a different quality of vaccine, with a different benefits/harms profile, will only be seen afterwards, and only if it is looked for. The poo comment sounds like a silly remark, not sure why you'd take it so seriously. And the use of an exclamation mark doesn't imply screaming, or even shouting.

I started regularly watching his channel at the beginning of the pandemic, and his roundups of the news from different countries and public health organizations was invaluable. When he got something wrong, he would correct it in the very next video. He read the comments and took constructive criticism. He talked about the exact precautions he was taking. He promoted the public health efforts of other people working in the field in under-served areas. He wasn't perfect, but he was someone who was making a concerted effort to be helpful and trustworthy, which was incredibly refreshing in the era of Boris Johnson and Donald Trump's "handling" of the crisis. And then, I have no idea what happened. Could it be as simple as money/notoriety? Did he only have a veneer of professionalism that he later dropped? Bet you don't know much about transfection either.

I doubt John was suggesting he hadn't heard of bacteria producing drugs before, though it would have benefited the conversation if he discussed that briefly. The point is that a different process can yield different results. If there are differences between the adverse reactions seen in the trials versus the rollouts of the vaccines, then a responsible medical community and government would want to try to explain that. Possibilities include that the trials were poorly conducted or fraudulent, or that the vaccines differed in some significant way. Both may be true. To test if the latter might be true, then we would want to look into the processes used, both for production and for storage/transport and administration of the vaccines, and identify any discrepancies. Given there is also evidence pointing towards different batches of the vaccines having different safety signals, I'm not sure why anyone would want to instantly discount the theory that the processes used in the mass production of the vaccines might have been insufficient to guarantee a safe product for all.
