If Joe ever wants to get rid of that beauty, the Gray Ghost is my Holy Grail. I couldn't find one and ended up buying the 30th Anniversary Fat Boy but I've never stopped wanting the original 1990 Gray Ghost. Still on the hunt for one ❤

I had a 1993 fatboy I rode for 12 years. Sold it 2 weeks ago it was ago.
I owned a 1986 Softail Custom. The frame was blue from the factory to match the bike.
I'm like 5 minutes in and had to say something....I just love what you are doing and love Joe...Respect the elders and listen to them!!!

Like mentioned 1st Softail was 84 that resembled the Softail Custom, had 4 speed & chain drive with a kicker. Iirc Softail Custom came a year or so later & some late 80s Softail Customs came with color matched frames.

Joe needs a custom Corbin seat with a little backrest on it that he can pull off when he wants. That should lower him to. The benefit of this is any hot 22 year old will jump on the back, but it will definitely keep the Fattys off! Joe’s right about the thunder header and the wheels. Gonna love watching you guys work this one for Joe. Maybe a tail light delete with an integrated smoked tail light to accent that plate lay back. I did that tail light thing to my 14 fatty, fucking sick!

Been hammering my old boy to at least upgrade the lights. “Nope…just like I ordered it!!!” Harley stock pump up air shocks….gross! Going to forward the series to my old boy.

Man some real words coming from a wise man who has seen and hard alot.
Man respect for krusei going to end and back to make a good product. I have a older friend who is expert when it comes to custom. His brain doesn't stop turning...give him your car for a week he will just start tinkering and he will make it better. Make his own adapter plates for transmissions, master engine builder. Taught me everything I know.. make me look at situations as inconveniences instead of something I can't beat. Adapt and over come. Think twice.
Ryan and Joe have that relationship. Minds just work the same way And enjoy each other company

My '84 Harley Evolution Softail, which I still have, was thundering under my butt for 7 years before your silly Fatboy ever left the factory. And the '87 Softail Custom had a frame and tins color match.

Close but the fat boy is far from Harleys first softail. As a matter of fact they trademarked the term back in the early 80’s with the fxst, ST meaning softail.
Painted frame no shit but the thing about fatboy they look good stock compared to a lot of bikes but anyway great story with the old boy .
