- The Honda CB200 was produced between 1973 and 1976 and can make an incredible project café racer. It's Like a Grom from the 70s. Honda calls it part sport bike, part road motorcycle. It weighs only 313lbs full of fuel.

My very first vehicle was a motorcycle. A blue 1974 CB 200. It got me where I wanted to go when I turned 18, opening up the wider world to me. I used communte 80 miles between the OC and San Diego on the freeway. Bike never let me down, though I crashed it being stupid a couple of times in the first 6 months before mellowing out and leathering up. Only damage was road rash. Bike's front brakes were a bad joke, with the rearshaving about as much modulation as my mother's rolling pins bouncing off dad's head. This was 1982. Litterally ditched it after electrical gremlins made her less than reliable. All my fault for monkeying with / crashing the bike repeately. Fast forward 20 years, and I'm riding 21st century Suzuki and Kawaki supermotos, and absolutely stunned by the technological progress that had happened over the past 25 years. Everything is superb - power delivery, handling, braking, comfort, reliability.
Crashability. Hahahaha......no, seriously. I try not to do that. I'm getting too old. A hard fart could kill me. I try not to crash.
Im the opposite, i started with a Yamaha R6… now have an appreciation for smaller bikes.

The exhaust are low to the ground to act like stabilisers going around corners....yes they scrape and spark real cool...

Hahahaha! My first crash on my new CB 200 happened because I took a corner a little too fast, and bottomed out on the tailpipe.
Wearing swimming trunks and a thin denum jacket and headed to the beach to surf. Found out steel has much less grip on asphalt than rubber. Gotta litlle road-rash outta that mistake, and learned to slow down and leather up. Great first bike.
I have one, i wonder if these are too emmitive for the ulez?

This engine has a upgraded clutch,, no longer uses the rod through the transmission shaft coming from the other side .. it now activates from the right side, eliminating a lot of slop and error
I don’t think you could have made this video any more boring if you had tried. It should’ve been a five minute video tops.
Play run perfectly fine if you change the oil frequently just like anything else. By the way mine says 199 CC that's crazy

Wow the neutral light on mine just covers the 4 completely. Maybe the eu spec was a bit different.

After they sit for a long time the neutral light barely goes out unless it's in neutral.. that may not be your problem but it is my problem I need to clean the switch or something
Where it makes contact in the engine or near the engine transmitted to the outside
That is so strange that the ones in the US are stamps or cast 199 CC
The 175 make 21 horsepower at 11500RPM this engine however makes 19 and 1/2 horsepower at 9500
How do you turn it on
Start with a nice meal at a restaurant, be gentle, say nice things.....

Cable operated front disc brake.....
Somebody left the shoes out of the one I bought in the rear so that's all I have right now is the cable disc front brakes it's just enough to drive it
Get rid of the brown seat mate. Spoils the look.

60mph? - I used to use one of these when acting as Road Marshall to the Folkestone to London Cycle races, mine would easily touch a ton. Perhaps UK version was better. Only changes to mine was the fitting of a 2 into 1 pipe on right hand side and tuned by race team at Brands when I covered an event as first-aider.
